Its size is almost identical to the MVP (and this is the MINI ), but with the fire button on the "short side" and the rounded "back edge" it's a bit more comfortable in hand. They seem to be similar in weight, but I like how the full-sized Nauti sits flush with the top. I don't feel like it's a giant scoop of ice cream teetering on the point of a sugar cone (sorry for the food reference - I just finished lunch!)

I'm curious - I have the 1.8Ω BVC in the Nauti, and I'm seeing ohms readings fluctuate. It showed 2.4Ω at one point, but now seems settled at 1.9. The tank is sitting flush with almost no movement when I try to wiggle it. Didn't know if anyone else has seen the ohms bounce. (I'd primed the Nauti on my Vamo while I was waiting for the ipv come up to temperature from the cold. It was reading a pretty solid 1.8-1.9 on the Vamo.)

Happy...... :party::wub::vapor:

Now I'm ...... . . . Elev8 just came back and said that they'll send my IPV Mini to Modus for repair? This is a brand new frickin' device that was defective from the factory!!! Anyone else ever have this happen?? At this rate it could be weeks before I get it back. Told them that at this point I simply want a refund and will buy another one . . .

Yeah, that's BS :(

I still haven't bought one, but I don't like hearing that.

Mobile mode is a stupid feature to begin with. Who's really going to charge a mobile device with a mod? I guess it could work in a pinch, but who really lets their phone battery run all the way down? I just throw my phone on the charger every other night no matter what the battery level. And what the above poster said, this is probably the design. It's not meant to have an atty on it when in mobile mode.

I did it with my mvp when the phone charger went haywire

I thought it was a dumb feature, too, until that day. Could be handy in a power outage as well. I don't have a landline.

Yes sir! My ohms are starting to jump around and that is a VERY VERY VERY bad thing. As far as this asMODus warranty thing I think this is complete bull. They're just trying to distance themselves from the consumer.. just pawning us off  doesn't make for a loyal customer!

Mine works great, no ohm jumping or anything bad that I have noticed. Nice, ergonomic, and consistent. 510 spring loaded. Easy to operate. A great device for the price. Sorry to hear that some had inconsistent reading issues, I can only speak for the one I own.

Things seemed to settle down this afternoon. I'd ordered an EHPro Atomic (apparently two - didn't notice until the order arrived and I rechecked my original paperwork ) This is my first honest-to-goodness RDA, and I managed to formulate a single coil build (ballpark 0.9 ohms) and cranked up to 18.5W. OH MY GOODNESS. NOW I think I get why people drip. I kinda screwed up later in the afternoon, so I'm going to have to rebuild, but now I have an idea of what I need to do. It was a brand new experience!

Liked how I could charge a battery and vape while charging. First few hours, not displeased at all!

I just ordered a silver Mini like in the photo below.

However, the photo I saw on the internet of the silver Mini I ordered, that flat section on the side of the mod that the buttons are located on looked to be black in color ... but in the photo below the flat area on the side looks silver ... I wonder if there are two versions of the silver Mini?

And it gets even better, check this out . . .

So they're going to send my device to Modus who doesn't have it in stock to honor the warranty. Unbelievable, will have to dispute with my CC company if they won't send a new replacement or issue a refund.

You do realize this is a New Release and we all jumped on the front of the train? Never uncommon for an interesting piece to sell out on first runs. Likely they will have inventory shorty, but Holiday season never helps.
Your Complaint is with the Vender, Not the repair service or P4U
Repair Service is a good thing for all of us. Most manufacturer offer Jack for support.

Trailz, Did you send it back because it does not read ohms until the button is pressed? That is normal. The unit is inactive until you trigger it.

Here is a photo of a Mini that is black color on the side:
ipv_mini.jpg

The cap on the bottom that holds in the battery looks different between these two also

That looks like a 3D rendered model and not an actual product photo to my eyes. And yes, not only is the backing for the buttons is VERY reflective so apt to change appearance depending on angle in photos of the actual product.
