You are good to Go:
DC-DC mode for your serious sub ohm work
PWM mode for fine tuning the lighter coils.

As for the tank - Vape what you like, it is yours after all.

I wouldn't even bother with PWM. I'm baffled as to why pioneer 4 U even made this an option on the mini. It's outdated technology and inferior to DC-DC

Toss a Protank or a Vivi Tank on it and you WILL understand.
Not everyone goes RTA/RDA

I laughed, but never posted a word, the first time I read a post raving about receiving their new Provari and how great the Vape was. The person was still using CE5 atomizers. To each their own.

ETA: and P4U didn't do it. The tech is in the YIHI Board

Hopefully this hasn't been touched upon yet, didn't read the previous 52 pages, but have they addressed the issue with the mobile mode causing the atomizer to auto-fire?

Yes. It's not an issue its operator error. Do not turn on mobile power with an atomizer attached. It's only designed to be used with the mobile USB adapter attached because in mobile mode there is constant power supplied to the 510 to power the charger.

Do you want something to really waste your time on > >These Mini's are all serial numbered on the battery cap ... Mine is L0836

If they started at A0001 ... what production # would I have?

Well, there would be 9999 of these Mini's made just during the "A" production run.

Mine is an "L" ... so 9999 x 11 letters would take it from "A" through the "K" production run = 109,989

In my case, I would add another 836 numbers since mine is an "L" (S/N L0836) which would mean my Mini was 109,989 + 836 = 110,825

Yup ... the 110,825th Mini built.

But, I find this a little hard to believe! :)

Mine has the same number L0836

Oh No! ...... Say it's not true!

L0836 on my Black iPV mini as well.

But if the + / - buttons are accidently pushed, could this not be an issue? I assume that you would have to, probably the smartest move anyways, turn the device off before putting it in your pocket.

By design and placement as well as tactility. It would be extremely difficult for both buttons to be depressed together in a pocket or purse. all the buttons are somewhat recessed I carry it in my pocket all the time without any fear of it even firing and the fire button is much more prominent. I haven't heard of any accidental activations of this feature. Most of the hype on this topic came from a reviewer that deliberately activated this feature comparing it to a DNA30 board where that is how you lock the power settings. This is not a DNA30 device the functions are not the same. Apparently this reviewer didn't read the manual before he reviewed it.
