what topper would you suggest for my new ivp mini? right now I am using my innokin 30b with a 2.1 coil at 8.5 to 9w. I was thinking this device would be suited nicely for an adjustable air flow tank. any suggestions?

If your not into rebuildables I recommend any of the aspire nautilus, nautilus mini or if you want to really blow clouds the aspire Atlantis. All will work beautifully on the IPV mini. The nautilus tanks will be closer to what your used to now but much better vapor and flavor in the 9-12watt range depending on your juice. The Atlantis is a whole nother ballgame. This beast will need about 25watts to perform and even at its smallest air setting is difficult to do mouth to lung hits. This one is best if you do direct lung inhales. Warm dense vapor and flavor that will knock your socks off. Lol

I have been reading this post since it started. This thing works really well and my battery life is soooooo long (lg HE2, efest 18650 2500 mah). I use the USB charger often and I swear its like a turbo charger! Way faster than my Intellicore i2.

I noticed something funny today. My dim feature completely disappeared! I started noticing it on a walk. I did a reboot and the problem persisted. Hours later, there were no more problems with the dimming. Anyone else experience this?

My bottom cap is also kinda bent after dropping it on CARPET! At first it started screwing in VERY crunchy. My heart sank as it was only a few days old. Now, however, the threads have gone back into place and it screws in as buttery-smooth as it did the day I unboxed it.

My atty does fire when I put it in mobile mode, I freaked out and took it off right away though. This feature is pointless IMO btw.

I DID screw in the 510 connection since when I first got the device, NONE of my attys would fire when sitting flush on the device. The screw in was necessary. But now I have learned that in fact that connection is not meant to be screwed down per what someone said like 20 posts earlier.

After I activate memory mode, the device NEVER stops saving a new memory when I press the fire button. There is absolutely no way for me to NOT save a new memory wattage since everytime you press the button a new memory is saved. Or am I doing it wrong?

If you press fire button as display is ON, you are saving a new memory setting. If after you go to one of the memories you want to change settings without them saving to memory, just wait a few seconds until display is off and then fire it all you want. This way your new setting won't be saved and memory settings won't change.Correction: Arvee3 is correct, I had set new defaults and followed instructions to do it, so I thought you could not change memory settings without pressing Fire button before display went off. No big deal to me but Arvee3 has a good point here, maybe someone else know how NOT to change memory settings.

Do not use Mobile Mode with atty screwed in. or better yet, do not use it at all...

Your atties didn't sit flush just because you did not screw them in enough. All mine fit nicely, drippers and tanks.

This is just not true with mine. I changed it to a setting, adjusted the wattage down then up, waited for display to go out and then, like you said, press the fire button but it still keeps saving the setting. Even if I change it to a setting, let the screen go out, then adjust wattage with down then up, it STILL saves the new memory setting. I could leave the device on standby forever and as long as I come back and press that fire button, it will save over the current setting. Am I thinking way too hard about this??

Mine must have been defective, because even when the little "ring" was set to all the way closed, it was still way too airy for me.

If it's all the way closed its almost airtight ...I put a oring on the center screw to keep it from self adjusting and do one and a half turns and that's enough for me...I use the original coil that came with it and use cotton bacon and flavour is on par with the kayfun IMO..

Mine wasn't. Did not ever "close" enough for my liking. Sold it. Hated it.
Maybe mine was defective?????

After using many toppers in my day, I would recommend the Lemo or Lemo Drop (shorter tank version)
Learn to wrap a coil if you don't know how already, and you will be so very glad you did. Mine came with a pre-built coil if you'd like you can use that one. Me personally really enjoy mine. ;)

Fyi there is a usb to 510 adapter you can get from fastttech. It screws on in place of the atty and will allow you to plug in a usb charger and act like a power bank. It's kinda stupid that they included the feature but don't include or sell the adapter or even discuss where you can get it. But it's not 100% pointless. Maybe 95 lol.

By the way I switched from kayfun to lemo drop today for good. With a very small wide bore drip tip, the size of the lemo drop and the mini I have found my new love. It's very compact, feels great in my hand and chucks vapor on 10w. I'm so happy with mine that I want another just in case.

I'm wishing I didn't order a kayfun v4 now but what's done is done. Just have to wait for it to be delivered and see what happens.

Not at all, i think you have a point here. Maybe someone else chime in with a response to you (and me too)
Actually, i had changed all defaults, following instructions, and did not try to replicate what you were doing. Mine does exactly as yours, i did not try to misguide you but i was wrong. still hope someone else can help.

But if the + / - buttons are accidently pushed, could this not be an issue? I assume that you would have to, probably the smartest move anyways, turn the device off before putting it in your pocket.

Turning it off before putting it in your pocket would be a good idea. The last thing you need is to have a lithium-ion battery go into meltdown because you accidentally enabled mobile charge mode. And yes... i know this product has protection circuitry to prevent such things, but i never put blind trust in any marketing claims.

Just don't do what the owner of a local vape shop near me did and put your keys and change in the same pocket as a 26650 battery. hehe. He managed to remove it from his pocket quick enough that it only resulted in a very minor burn.

edit:

I haven't received my iPV Mini yet (ordered it last night) and it looks like the buttons do stick out a bit. Depending on how far and how easy they are to push, I may take the thing apart and shave down the profile of the buttons so they're more flush with the surface like I did with my Vamo. I hated how every time I set it on it's side, it would roll just enough to hit the + or - button.

I really like the eleaf lemo really impressed with it..

i'm probably going to buy the Lemo Drop. It's the same diameter and perfectly matches the iPV Mini's rounded side and it's shorter than the standard Lemo.

Depends if you are a "mouth to lung" or a "lung hitter".
I do "mouth to lung" and hated the Lemo......way too airy.
I prefer the Kayfun by a long shot.
But your mileage may vary

That means I should love the Lemo since I am a lung hitter. (something about that just sounds wrong)

Just ordered a wrap for my mini.........first wrap I have ever bought. I must really like the iPV mini, because I have never cared enough about a mod (the actual look, most of my mods are scratched from being in my pocket) to purchase a wrap for it. :)

How tough do you think the finish is on the iPV Mini? I considered a wrap but decided that if it gets scratched, i'll just sand it down and airbrush on some DuraCoat epoxy paint. It's designed for firearms, so it's tough as nails. Here it is on my Vamo V3. If you're wondering where the grooves went, I filled them with Bondo before painting.

Well, if you sit it face down on a table and PUSH DOWN hard on it it will turn mobile on. Not sure why anyone would want to, but it will.

Honestly I am surprised at all the panic over a Feature.

The buttons have a decent resistance and are a bit clicky. I tried several times to press both at once with one finger. No luck.

I do not carry unlocked or turned on mods in my pocket so............No Guinea Pig here.:D

Think safe, be safe - 5 clicks OFF

Finish is not very durable.
Wear at 22mm ring area
Wear at bottom from sitting on hardwood table
1 week
Not so worried about the finish. Simple to Wrap or strip and paint. Two wires to de-solder(+ wire) on pin & Negative is on a eye near + wire
