IPV2 Internal pics

Dropped my IPV2 down some stairs yesterday, hard enough for a solder joint to come loose at the 510 connection. While I had it tore down I took a few pics of the internals and was surprised at how clean and well put together the device is. Just thought I'd share.









After some initial sanding with 430 grit sandpaper. Going to hit it with 1000 and 2000 grit tomorrow to get a nice mirror shine before putting a clear carbon fiber jwrap on.

Neither was I. I expected it to be crammed full of hot glue and epoxy like so many other VW mods. Pleasant surprise.

It does look good. Just be aware that it's a real PITA to get around the sides/edges and the screen. Have not had a chance to finish mine yet but will post more pics as soon as I do.
