Im looking for a temp control mod so i can start building with ni200. was looking at the ipv series but cant decide between the ipv3 LI or the ipv4. They have totally different looks and i like them both so it comes down to the features. I know one is 165w and upgradeable to 200 andd the other is only 100w but i think 100 will be plenty for me. The prices are the same also right now so thats not an issue. So any suggestions on which one you prefer??? Thanks everyone

I would get the Li if they were the same price for sure, everywhere I see both the 4 is like $10-$30 cheaper.
I own an IPV4 and will be buying an IPV3Li and putting my IPV4 into backup use only. I really dislike the taco shell on the IPV4 personally and I love the IPV3 box so I would obviously go with a 3li but still you have to factor in you get more watts with the li and IMO a better built box.

my biggest gripe with the ipv3 is the battery cover..you always need to have a screw driver near by for the two screws holding the cover in place..P.I.A in my opinion.

True true but if your so inclined I have seen a few instructibles out on the inter web on how to replace the screws with magnets

The iPV3Li battery door does not have any screws, it slides in and out. I've had mine for a couple weeks now, but I'm now selling it because I prefer something lighter and smaller like an SX Mini or a Vaporshark:)

No opinion on either mod from experience, but I'd probably go IPV3 LI before I went IPV4 honestly. I had an older version of the IPV3 and loved using it.

Where was the li for 79? Might have to tell the old lady I accidentally hit buy this weekend. We'll accidentally hit buy, use this cc and ship here, wait it was autocomplete that did it ;). Anyway I have been eying the black version since I have a standard ipv3 with a black wrap and it is a tank.

I know if you go on ecigavenue IPV3 Li 165W box mod by Pioneer4you

and use the code ILOVEWEEKENDS you can get the LI for $76.49. I recently ordered from them. Very satisfied with my experience with that vendor.

Without having to enter a bunch of info, did they charge shipping on your order. The previous post was free shipping.
Edit
OK that was supposed to quote the earlier post from db lol not sure how I did that.
