Firstly I appreciate any and all insight & apologize to anyone who I PM'd about the firing issue that was troubled that I contacted you directly.

#1) I'm going to order a JWrap for this little monster and They list two versions for the IPV3 : IPV3 & IPV3 vr150
Does anyone know how to identify if my new unit is this vr150 version, please ?
I assume its just the now removed charging port but mine has that port blocked off with some stainless stud (comedy btw).
Last resort I'll bother the J-Wraps guy again and tell him I don't freaking know what hes talking about with these two versions listed
for the IPV3...

--- THE IMPORTANT QUESTION ----
#2) Can someone please confirm the default firing time that the IPV3 has before it auto shuts off ?? Local owners have guessed maybe ten seconds but it doesn't feel like it... I may have stumbled upon a setting for that in the software interface used to access it for the software upgrade (the SXI utility) but I didn't touch it as I didn't know what it was for (still not confirmed), but since my upgrade was pleasantly completed I poked around a bit ( I'm a software developer ) and looked at the settings. I've got my Mephesto Addy set up nicely with a .38 Ohm Dual Macro and I can vape her on the IPV3 at a low wattage like 15-16 and get maybe 7 to 10 descent smooth full hits so I'm like super happy about my setup, but I get a bit upset hat she shuts down on me after like 7 seconds..( guessing @ seconds --I'm not vaping with a timer in my hands lol)

However I do have a timer (lol) and before I hook her back up to the puter and see if that SXI interface actually had a setting to adjust that auto cut off value I was hoping someone might be able to help me please...

Thank you

just turned mine down to 10 Watts and timed it -- 10 seconds on the button before it automatically shuts off.

And for reference the Vapor Range version has carbon fiber sides and dooesn't have the "pioneer4you" sticker on the charger side -- they replaced it with one of their owns that says vapor range.

Vapor Range | Pioneer4You IPV3 VR-150 Plus 150 Watt Carbon Fiber Variable Voltage Wattage Box Mod Your Online Vape Store for Mechanical Mods , Rebuildable Dripper RBA's RDA's , and Juice

bottom line is unless your mod says VR150 on the side with the stud -- you want to order the plain old IPV3 wrap.
It should have text that reads "Pioneer4You" on the sticker thats on the same side as the stud thats blocking the charger -- I can't say if the wrap will cover the plug or not -- but i would guess not because it would make the wrap look funny and the plug can be removed if you really want to... its just not safe to use that charger as the primary means of charging the mod since it doesn't balance charge...

Nice look and feel, cutting is off. January 10, 2015
Reviewer: Dayton Richard from Pennsylvania
I bought this for my IPV3 150W after doing some research on where the cutout holes are placed exactly. The side of the device where the crudely-glued plastic strip is located is cut off when I was told it would be covered. There is also a couple measurement errors around the perimeter, as well as some unnecessary cutout holes around the device. The front panel wrap is slightly smaller than the back panel wrap. There errors are very noticeable and almost unforgivable when you place a white wrap on a black device
It definitely isnt worth the upwards of $20 spent. I would've paid about 10-12 for the quality. Other than that, it does feel really smooth and sturdy, and after about 10 minutes of struggling to make it straight, it doesn't leave any residue.I would recommend, most likely, on most other devices.

Hey just a heads up -- I was considering picking up a wrap myself until I found the above review under the carbon fiber wrap section. I think I will hold off a while longer...

Thank you all so much Getting my timer out RIGHT NOW....
I believe my issue may be the batteries I saw her fluctuate while firing and I'm pretty sure its from incident I had in my mech with my batteries...
I'll be (lol) venting at my local vape shop since they admitted their error in selling me a tank incompatible with my mech mod ...

They were kind enough to buy back the tank and adapter, I may have to get getto on them about the flaw in the batteries their mistake caused me...
I hope not .. I'm not a kid anymore hahah

Thank you all so much !!

J-Wraps are like $14.50 and this guy (J-Wraps) was the one who was aware of the various versions of the IPV3 so I'm guessing he has dealt with owners .....ing about improper sizes and hole cut outs... thanks though man I appreciate it .. You scared me for a second I was worried that it might be some technical issue related to adding a slick wrap... lol peep these Clear Printed

Yeah there are some nice ones there :) Let us know how they fit or if anything is left uncovered / gaped -- I'm a starwars nerd so the r2d2 one is calling me -- but both of my ipv3s are black so I need a good fit or it would be tacky looking I think. For now I just ordered a roll of this stuff below and will cut my own, but I'd like a proper wrap at some point.

to me
The vr150 template was created to accommodate the lack of touch sensor and the charging port.
Thanks,

lol Still awaiting a few things from China.. I need some batteries, some atty stands (building)
some travel bottles another mech mod or three and a few more attys and I believe I'm done lol !!!
This blue KayFun V4 clone is actually nice once you understand the complexities.

Makes you wonder if the authentic functions as touchy as it does....
I can easily see how if your not careful you can biff juice everywhere with the V4...
did it once fortunately wasnt the 5 pawns hahahah...

Day One taking it to work burned right through the celluocotton ..
nice to be able to get to the deck and waste NO juice !!!
fixed it in seconds !!! At home,,, since I don't carry a travel (vape work/repair) kit ( yet)
Oh that reminds me I'll be needing the New stem and peek protector kit for this too hahah

Other than that I'm pretty much finally in vape heaven....
that's right I am pretty much content ( I do NEED a copper mech mod though ) Lol NEED !!
