Irritated throat from juice

I have an issue of having a very irritated throat when i vape on US juice such as 5 pawns gambit/grandmaster @ 6mg. Is there any tips on reducing it or even better remove the irritating feeling at the throat. Tried it on rda rta, low/high wattage, alien/jugg/kanthal 24AWG/clapton and even different types of drip tips but nothing is solving the issue.. guidance please?

Two most common causes for throat irritation are nicotine level and or higher PG content. Since you don't have any control over the PG ratio in that particular juice I would try reducing the nic level. Try a 3 mg

Are you able to vape other 5P or Cosmic juices at 6mg without getting that throat irritation?

@LittleBird i have yet tried other 5p or cosmic fog juices yet.
@Major911 any solutions other than swapping to 3mg as i still have 6mg i feel that throwing them away would be a waste..

So, you might want to mix either 0 or 3mg juice with the 6 that you already have, and see whether that helps. Do you have a B&M nearby? They could probably just dilute your juice for you.

I agree with LittleBird but I have a question for you and how large of a contained of the e-Liquid is it before I say go for diluting it. 50/50 Zero and 6 will give you 3. Maybe try the 3 at the Vape Shop?

I mix different Tobacco e-Liquids to achieve the Nicotine content I want. Shooting for lower every day but at times I need more nicotine than I want to vape. Good Luck

Yes, it will. But it will also dilute the flavor.

Also depending on the percentages like 70/30 it will thicken or thin the original

I had some mouth irritation after some months. The problem was resolved by reducing the % of flavoriing. I reduced it by mixing unflavored DIY and using it to dilute the commercial eliquid flavoring but keep the percentages of the other ingredients the same. Then I found I could dilute commercial eliquid 25/75 and still get good flavor. That saves significant money because unflavored mix costs me about 1 penny per ml.

Then I found a stand alone flavoring I like and use just 1%. The cost of ingredients for my DIY is about 1.2 cents per ml, 8 cents a day, $30 a year. The fool proof way to get started with DIY is dilute commercial e liquid you already like.

A better option would be to buy the same juice you have in 0 mg and mix equal parts with the 6mg to cut it to 3. If you simply add VG your going to throw off the flavor and viscosity of your juice.

Adding both PG & VG to the bottle won't help anything. It'll simply dilute the flavor more, as well as the nicotine content but what's the point when you can just grab a 0ml bottle and not lose any flavoring? I'm not sure about the first juice you said, but Cosmic Fog is high in VG so it's most likely due to the 6mg of nicotine as others have said. Some flavors for me have been simply too rough at 6mg so I cut them down and began to buy 3mg solely, 3mg is really the sweet spot for sub-ohming.

Grab a 30ml of 6mg, and a 30ml of 0mg. Mix them both together and you'll have a 60ml bottle of 3mg juice, it'll work like a charm! All you need is something to mix them together in. Make sure to shake it really well too, by the way.

I have developed a sensitivity to some flavorings myself, and adding a VG/PG mix to your 6mg, cutting it in half to 3mg and half the flavoring, many help you find out where the cause is. Less flavoring is needed for a number of us. Good luck finding the cause so you can enjoy your vape!
