I have a friend who is completely enamored with my slim chargers. He's got a 650mah VV ego with a 808 adapter, and wants to know if it's safe to use it on a slim charger. Although the voltage is the same, my concern is whether the charge rate is compatible? If anything, I'd think it might take longer to charge than a standard 510 charger? I'm not willing to risk frying one of my chargers, so I figured I'd ask...
Is a slim charger safe for a 510?

I believe that a 2a or 2000 mAh Charger, like the Slim Charger will not work with a 510/Ego/Vgo/Xgo/*go no matter what the adapter is. The adapter and voltage output mean nothing since it's all about the battery. If I remember correctly Vgo uses a 450 mAh charger.

Used a 510-808 adapter on the 510 batt I had for testing purposes Cryx sir, the charger is fine but not the batt. So the answer is no....

The polarity isn't reversed Cryx sir, think it has more to do with the logic circuits on the 510 and the charger....
