Well, I watched it. I actually called all of that about a year ago when I saw it start to go down. Scary sh*t, I would say.
I'm sure you've seen Zeitgeist and the like...but then again, I don't want to be the forum's paranoid conspiracy buff, either. I'm here to support e-cigs (and vent about politics, I suppose). Anything else would have to be ran past my team of extremely .... researchers and/or lawyers, whom I keep on staff and never feed nor let leave.*
* - Slurchzilla would like to apologize to any researchers and/or lawyers who were offended by the previous comment. Please note that absolutely nothing is meant by the adjective "...." other than an inordinate attention to detail; Slurchzilla treats lawyers and researchers with the utmost dignity and respect and he apologizes for any inconvenience or confusion that this may have caused. Also note that the aforementioned researchers and lawyers have grown very gaunt from their forced diet of mold and filth and are currently staging a rebellion -- please know that this in no way affects the author's opinions.

I've got chickens too! Love my girls, all 15 of them. We also have 4 ducks as well. I'm not too partial to duck eggs though, too rich. They are great for baking though.
I do have 3 goats also, but they are not producing milk. They are just great for keeping the blackberries down and being our pals.
At least we get a good amount of eggs a day too... no, we won't starve either.
HA HA - glad I'm not the only one, I have 16 hens, 1 roo, 6 ducks (3 girls 3 boys) 6 guinea's. I have a big fat greedy Goat, a weather, he's just around for the entertainment! My Ducks (muscovy's) just started laying, they're still young, my son ate one of their eggs the other day and didn't seem to notice a difference in taste - perhaps cause they're young. I have a couple of folks lined up who want eggs once they get going (to hatch) so I probably won't be eating them much.
ok, now ya'll are scarin' me... 
Reminds me of being a kid and hearing my parents talk about underground bunkers and such.

In all seriousness I do agree to the extent of being practical. It's not a bad idea to be prepared. You never know what's around the corner. I just choose not to let it turn to paranoia and consume me. That's my happy place. Ahh, I feel better now

On 9/11/01 when I saw the 1st plane hit WTC tower I grabbed my shopping cart and ran to the supermarket and stocked up on 3 gallon jugs of water, canned veggies and toilet paper.
I really don't want to live like that. I decided to stock up on ammunition instead
you too huh? before they take the ability to buy that away from us as well along with the "dispensers".
