- Pay attention to what is going on around you.
- Be prepared for anything. (I grew up in Tornado alley.)
- Know your rights and do not surrender any of them without a fight.
- Stay informed: Don't use one source of information as the basis of your understanding. As I stated before, try to educate yourself on all sides of the issue. Somewhere in the middle of it all, lies the truth. Think.
- Don't choose to remain silent when you can speak out.
- Protect and care for those who cannot do so for themselves.
My comments were direct replies to specific posts. It wasn't my intention to minimize the OP's concern about shortages of E-cig supplies, but only to expand on the idea. My dark sense of humor invades everything I do. I mean no harm by it.
And for the record: This administration is no different than any of the ones that came before it. I am neutral about it. I have no more control or influence over it than I had over any of the ones before it. I write my representatives and sometimes they actually act in the interest of their constituents, most times they do not.
The only control I have on my life is within my direct sphere of influence and the choices I make. Whatever happens to me is my sole responsibility. I just try to make sure that my choices do not adversely affect others around me.
And I agree, basically, all anyone is trying to say is: Do what you feel you need to do to be prepared and feel secure in your life no matter what happens: Natural disasters etc.
Take care all!
