I like my AVE juice, my bobas bount and flue cured and gorilla juice. But I will punch my grandmother before I diluted my bobas...

So currently I am rocking it in my kicked SB with a dca 306, and its awesome. It's the best I got tbh. But I can't take it out anywhere, it just sits at my desk. So is bottom feeding a good solution for this? This way I can enjoy it anywhere? I just cant make 100% vg work in carto tanks and defiantly not a vivi nova.

And what is a good starter bottom feeder?

A 306 on a REO works great. A mini holds 2 ml and good for on the go and/or stealth,. A grand hold 6 mil and it can be kicked. A VV grand also holds 6 mil and has variable voltage (taller than a grand, but same width). Pricey starter bottom feeders, but worth every penny. Nothing proprietary about them or their spare parts like the VMODS.

They have an inexpensive rebuild-able atomizer that fits the grands, and vv grands, if you really want control and to save some money on atomizers long term. For about 10 cents and 2 minutes of my time, I build myself a new coil every 4 days or so. I no longer bother to clean them. Perfect for atty clogger 100% VG juices.

Check the classifieds if you get verified, can't go wrong with used because they last forever and REOmods will rehab for a reasonable price if you have a problem. A used grand with your kick shouldn't be that expensive and would be perfect for your boba addiction. (search kicked Grand)

Really reliable, easy to clean and use . I haven't used anything else since I bought my first back in April 2011. The bottom feeder is so low fiddle and maintenance, no matter which one you buy.

Yeah I'm lookin into the grand. I just didn't like the idea of a vmod because it's like 80 or 90 bucks and all it is is a plastic mold and an aluminum cover it seems like. I love m silver bullet but it kinda gave me a standard because its like a quarter inch stainless steel and same price as the vmod. But yeah kicked grand with a 306 sounds awesome

I've been researching the VMOD for a month or so, and I think I can answer your question. To use a 306 atty, you need to buy the XL drip tip for the 306 atty since a 510 drip tip is incompatible with the 306. The standard size 306 drip tip won't clear the top of the cone on the VMOD, but the XL size will. Hope this helps.

I looked into the REO and I simply don't like the design. The VMOD is much sexier imo, so no matter what else I find, I keep coming back to the VMOD.

I've had the vmodXL for a few months, I agree, it's a good looking mod. I was initially not a fan of the box-y Reo, until I held one for the first time. Now, I have only had my Reo for 24 hours, but I am in love. I can't believe how good it feels in the hand and how amazing it looks in person, especially in contrast to the plastic chasis and aluminum shell of the vmod. Vape wise, I wish I would've discovered shorty 1.7 ohm cartos earlier. Litecigsusa has 5 packs for a good price, pick some up if you pull trig on a bottom feeder, they're pretty damn great.

okk I've read through and I'm thinking of a variable voltage bottom feeder. I'm looking for variable voltage. NO clearomizers, just some good wickless systems. Done with the burning crap taste of wicks. I have 3 options as of now:

Reosmods - very expensive!
VMOD - Not variable voltage but seems promising.
Innokin - Variable voltage 2600 mAH iTaste MVP

I'm getting drawn to the Innokin ... am I going in the right direction? And I can see that you can use cartotanks with it that don't use wicks but have some other system. What else can I fit on it? I mean, what type of cartomizers would go fine with it?

It can go up to 5.0 volts, should I go with 1.5 ohm or 2.0 ohm resistance cartotanks? Or should I go with 1.5 ohm dual cartotanks?

Way too much info out there and hard to know what will work, will not.

Appreciate any help you guys can provide. And, if you can add more options in my quest to find a variable voltage bottom feeder that is promising and I wont have to buy more equipment in the near future.

Edit: Thought I should add this info. I use 100% VG eLiquid. Some people advised me not to use clearomizers or cartotanks for such thick juices. Should I stick with VMOD then? Thanks for the help guys!

Thanks guys!

Yeah, would also like to know this.

xsphat answered it above.... The standard drip tip for a 306 atty will not clear the cone enough, (to vape comfortably), that is used on the VMod XL. The XL drip tip is about 1/4"+ longer and is more comfortable to vape with. It is just a preference and not an absolute necessity...

I, too, got sick of boba's destroying cartos in a day or two.

I know you are asking about bottom feeding but I would recommend a genesis RBA. I converted from cartos to genesis and have never looked back. I didn't like the idea of having to keep the device upright but it really wasn't a difficult adjustment. There is a learning curve to prevent dry hits and shorts but once you get the basics, it's really easy. Boba's has never tasted so consistently good and all I have to do is fill the tank when it gets low.

I've had a vv grand for only a few days, but its easy to sing praises for it.

Something I look forward too that has not been mentioned is resale. The Reo holds value but most importantly selling it used is easy. The cost to buy, use then sell a Reo is very low, especially w/an affordable rba. The quality of vape & enjoying juices (finally!) has value too.

I may get a vmod 2.0 for summertime on the go. Bottom feeders resolve a lot of issues.
