I've posted very little since joining - so would say that it isn't addictive in the slightest.

Hey Chris, some are spared but who knows what could happen a couple of months from now, especially when you want to find out about new kit or novelty coil building, it just takes one spark and in the blink of an eye,...

I'm on here almost everyday...at about this time.I tend to check the legal stuff and then wonder around a bit. I don't really post as much as I used to. I've pretty much settled into my gear and can't really offer much advice on what the rest of you discuss. Frankly, 50 watt this, sub-ohm that...I usually don't have a clue what you are all talking about. Things change so fast around here...you can be obsolete before you know it.

Sorry Grimwald, but I beg to differ for a number of reasons when it comes to you or anyone else who feels they have been left behind with "the 50 watt this or the sub-ohm that".

Although the devices are more powerful and abundant, the principle remains the same. These new trends are just that. Take the Atlantis tank as an example; they have been designed and built in China to meet the demand of higher vapor production for the newer vapor's out there. Unfortunately, these are produced in a generic manner and do not allow the individual to tailor the vape to their own needs.

I see many folks asking for advice about reduiding coils to suit their preference but having never owned a Penelope or Ithaka have no clue how to make a coil using nr-r-nr wire but would love to hear from someone who does!

That is just an example and maybe not the best but all members have experience of greater or lesser duration and I am sure that like clothing, what is 'In' today will be 'Out' tomorrow until it comes full circle again but they are always going to be cloth, cotton, zips and buttons:2c:

Somewhere out there
So it appears I've averaged just about 2 posts a day over the past 2 years. That may not seem like much to you chatterbox types, but it's twice as much as I've posted to any other forum. And I've been on-line since the 80s, when we they were called BBSs instead of forums.

I expect the average to go down a lot, now that I have gear and liquid down to two types of setups and one DIY flavor I use day in and day out. Stability and simplicity are good, but boring.

Stability and simplicity are good, you're not wrong there! Interestingly, this thread seems to have drawn out a few of the older members who say much the same thing as yourself.
I also, was hoping to hear from some very recent members (like since February) with well over 1,000 + posts to get there take on what motivates them to average 30 or more posts a day.

Most of all, thanks for posting your thoughts and sharing 'Wow':toast:
BTW, what does BBS stand for? ..it sounds rude:ohmy:

"Bulletin board system" or "bulletin board software". :D I used to run one of those, back '90-'94.

I am definitely an unsociable type of person and so having a cluster of similar vapers right beside my bed (the last stop before oblivion) every night is tempting. Luckily I get cut off for periods and this allows me to at least get a little rest.

Bwahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! ;)

Depends on the month or season. If it's winter I have lots more time. Dead of summer if I'm not on vacation somewhere then more time. When I'm busy I will go months or longer without signing in for longer than 5 minutes. I was part of the MBV gang and had probably 50 posts or more a day sometimes. But they didn't like us chit chatting so we went to another forum of our own and over a year later are still there. So I check there first then branch out if I have the time.
I know coming back this winter after being gone for several months was a shocker as no more newbie posts about cigalikes and juice that has to taste exactly like tobacco... Instead it's all about powerful devices and huge clouds. Anyway I'm content where I'm at with devices etc. so don't always offer much in the way of help.
