Is Getting An Order From Fastech Like Christmas?

I've thought about placing an order with them as their prices are beyond dirt cheap but I know I'd go crazy waiting for my stuff to show up. Only way I could justify it would be to place an order and then forget all about it only to be surprised if and when my gear was delivered.

Delivery time is like 16 months isn't it? How many of you placed orders with them, forgot all about the orders, and then felt like a kid Christmas morning when you came home to find your package waiting for you?

My only problem...(so far) with FT is that by the time I get what I've ordered I have advanced on to the next "thing" I'm interested in. My first big order from them had ego sticks and batteries in it and by the time I got them, had "moved on" to the MVP2. So, yes it's fun to get stuff, but timely.....not so much!!

Shipping has always been about 2-4 weeks for me, and that depends on the availability of the item and how quickly it leaves China.

Shipments have been running two to three weeks for me.

It's not wise, though, to order from them shortly before the Chinese New Year. Everything backs up then, and mistakes get made.

Stylemaster, I've thought of that and is one of the reasons I don't order with them. The other thing that makes me reluctant to use them is the thought of how bad it could be if I needed to return or exchange something. Every US vendor I have dealt with would jump through flaming hoops to make sure I was happy, I don't think I'd get that from fastech.

I may have to suck it up and place a bulk order with them at some point though, their prices are just redonkulous.

It's all a state of mind for me. I've made about 6 orders from FT and thought I want my stuff from the very moment it's ordered, the time goes by quickly enough and my orders always arrive, eventually.

Yes, it's like Christmas but all year 'round. (Except for CNY as stated)

Yes it's like Christmas. May want a few orders. Not every gift is what you expected. Now and then you get a good one.

I've never received an order from FT, I always cancel them before they ship my order out.

Despite their low prices, I'd rather pay a little more money and buy the products in the States so I get it at a reasonable time.

I ordered a KFL clone from FastTech, got tired of waiting (about 2 weeks and still not shipped) and ordered the same clone off ebay within the states. I got the ebay one before FT even shipped my order out and just canceled with FT.

I don't think the wait is as extreme as 16 months, but it's way longer than I'd like to wait after giving them my money.

I know it isn't that long but I've hear you're supposed to set expectations for 6-8 weeks and if you get your stuff earlier then to count yourself lucky. No way I could deal with that, I get frustrated when my orders take longer than 3 days! lol

My orders often take more than 2 weeks before packaging.

When you order from FT, make sure EVERYTHING in your cart is labeled as "in stock" or "ships next day". Otherwise your whole order will be held up waiting for one thing to get back in stock, if something else goes out of stock while waiting on that item, then you wait some more.

Have you experienced a "ready to ship" item in your order received bin revert to out of stock?
I haven't.

I had a recent order from FT that showed no updates for a long time, until it landed in San Francisco.

That's good news. It would be bad if they rob from order received bin. Some peeps wouldn't like that.

In my house, it's EXACTLY like Christmas. Shiny new stuff shows up, my wife, daughter, SIL and friends all get nice gifts.

And I get stuck with the bill.
