Okay, so I only placed my order this morning. But I'm getting antsy.

Brand new to vaping (though I've done enough reading and YouTube watching to at least think I know a bit) and haven't picked up an analog asde from the occasional post-drink discretion for about four years.

I met up with an old high school friend for lunch a few weeks ago and he pulled out a Blu, which got me thinking about picking up an ecig just for the social factor and I miss the physical actions associated with smoking.

I have a conference coming up in Chicago (one moth late for Vapefest!) and the last time I went on this, I bought a pack of analogs and did a lot of networking with the smokers. Hoping having my Volt will keep me from analogs this trip. I also ordered a small bottle of Vapedudes caffinated juice, which I'll need! I wonder if it works! In fact,I'm half-falling asleep at my desk now.

I also have a raging sweet-tooth. One of my office mates puts out a bowl of candy and I'm at it easily five or six times a day.

I posted in the new forum members topics looking for an occasional travel and social unit. I was handily pointed to Smokeless Image.

Well, there is caffeinated liquid, but I needed my nicotine to start up in the mornings, so I use a slightly higher nicotine in the morning (12mg) over my all day (6mg). However, to take care of that sweet tooth, try some really sweet liquids from ECBlendflavors.com, in a 0mg liquid, and marathon away! I like things with a "cool hit" - a biting taste without the mint usually - on things like dragon fruit and watermelon, but my very favorite is Winter Vanilla, which is mostly wintergreen with a little vanilla, then I add extra flavor and the cool hit and get it in 0mg... my perfect, no calorie, sweet satisfying, 0mg marathon vape. You'll find something for your sweet tooth eventually, too, just be sure to try inexpensive samples from liquid suppliers before dumping a lot into a liquid you find you do not care for.

It arrived today. So that was what, four days? Rockin'!

I got the smooth sampler in 6mg, just to compare. But bought blanks and some juice from VapeDudes in 0% for going forward.

Seemed to arrive fully charged as the battery LED didn't turn on when I plugged it into the charger and USB on my laptop. I've been hitting it occasionly since noon. IT's 1:35 now. Going strong.

So far, I've tried Camel Joe (Loved it), Cowboy (not as sweet), and trying Freedom now (nice, toasty and mild).

The label was peeling off the Cowboy, but I taped it down. There's a tiny, hair-thin scratch in the coating on the black battery. Nothing I can't live with. But I'm sort of ..... Though I figure it will take some beating as I use it.

I posted these in the Faces of Volt thread. Maybe I'll get a freebie offer in time to take another battery to Chicago.

Welcome, Jet. You lucked out by being sent to SI. When I was a newbie, I was told...buy manual batts, dual coil cartos and most vapers don't want tobacco liquid. After six months, I have realized I don't like manuals, I don't want the dual coils and my favorite liquids are the tobacco. Everyone has to find their own way and a whole lot of us end up at SI, one way or another.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check that site out. I have to say I'm rather pleased with the tobacco flavors in the smooth sampler. I got them just to compare to the old "dead-leaves" cigarettes. I can't wait for my sweeter flavors to arrive, though.

If you like sweeter tobacco flavors, I recommend our RY4! I personally do not like tobacco flavors as much as sweeter ones, but our RY4 is like the best of both worlds. A caramel/vanilla tobacco? Can't really go wrong there.
