Vaping's not nearly as satisfying for me outdoors unless its dead calm. Wind blows the vapor away too quickly. Still haven't figured out why this wasn't a problem when I was smoking.

I think it's a problem because the vapor is less dense than the tobacco smoke. It will hang in the air longer, but vapor just whisps away.

And as far as vaping in the car with the windows down....I also find it less satisfying. I think because of the reason above...the vapor being less dense blows away faster, even out of your mouth, so you aren't getting the hit that you are used to.

Vaping is definitely much better in still air.

There was a post a few days ago, about vaping in the wind during a fishing trip. I thought the issue he was having might have to do with Bernoulli's principle, where there would be a drop in air pressure outside your tank, effecting the draw. If there was less pressure outside and greater pressure inside, the air would tend to move towards the area of lower pressure.

At first, reading this thread, I thought "whaaaaaa...?"

Now that I think of it, I'm vaping a different juice on a different build outdoors - one that I don't indoors. It's stronger, hotter, and more vapor volume than I use indoors.

You guys are definitely on to something here with the air stillness thing, and I think I'm just compensating. Y'know, ya learn something new every day.
