Yeah, my asthma isn't really that bad. I was first diagnosed in high school when I started playing in both band classes (picked up trumpet as well as the trombone I had been playing for years) and I began getting very out of breath and dizzy during the second class. Few things really bother my asthma (bleach, aerosols, hot humid weather) and smoking wasn't one of them, so I never had any inclination to stop. Usually when I have an attack, a few puffs of my albuterol and some rest and I'm all good. Been lucky enough to never have been hospitalized because of it, though during my last surgery, they had some problems keeping me awake once my anesthesia wore off, said that between the asthma and smoking that I was starting to display symptoms of sleep apnea.
I'm glad I could make you smile ^_^. My grandparents have lived here for as long as I can remember and I have lots of fond memories. They actually live right along Crane Lake (the little lake we always called it) with a boat, private dock, fishing deck and everything. We recently moved here from Ashville so that we could be nearer to them and help them out more. My grandpa had a heart attack a couple years ago and my grandma has a plethora of medical problems so it helps the whole family breath a little easier knowing someone is nearby.
