You know, the metallic taste is also a symptom of radiation poisoning....you haven't had any surprise getaways to Chernobyl lately, have you? Any picnics to a toxic waste dump? Hmmm........

Urban recycled tap water is poisonous stuff, most people tolerate it, a few don't. If you really want to drink or cook with it then only a $200 filter system will remove the contaminants. Otherwise use only bottled water in those big jugs for drinking or use in a kettle or cooking.

A simple test for poor-quality water: let your kettle dry out and look at the sludge in the bottom. If you use bottled water, a kettle stays bright and clean. The tapwater sludge is not just harmless minerals / 'lime'.

OTT quackery? No, and I can provide evidence why it isn't.

Distilled water is a bad idea by the way.

My taste buds are really screwing with me lately. I find rinsing with "whitening pre-rinse" and then brushing my teeth helps. Some.

Last night, all of my cinnamon fire ball vapes were tasting like butter. Go figure.
