First off, let me say, this is NOT a knock on any of Rob's products. I'm a Reo lover and always will be. I just have to ask. Am I the only one that prefers good old LR 510 atties over the RM2? I just can't get the flavor and performance from the RM2 that I get from the 1.5ohm atties from Empire mods. I've tried several times. Watched all the videos. Just can't get the "nirvana" that others seem to be getting. I just wanna know if I'm alone here. Again, I am crazy about Rob's mods and his stellar service. Just wanted to see if I'm the only one that just doesn't "get it". Thanks!

I don't think REOville has a law that states you must like and use a RM2. :) If you prefer atties, there's nothing wrong with that. The nice thing is, there are lots of choices for topping a REO. The one you like is the right one. :)

Thanks CAT. Maybe I just can't pry my VV Grand out of my hand long enough to make a proper coil.

Yup...some people can't stand cotton and some don't like silica, or nichrome, or what have you. A lot of it is juice dependent and a lot is just personal preference (I like absinthe...my buddy doesn't). Nothing to fret over.

But let me ask you this...have you tried micro-coils?

I did. I just think that wrapping coils is not one of my talents.

No worries...sometimes it takes some experimentation to figure out what works.

For what it's worth I recently talked my buddy into a Reo and while he enjoys the RM2 he still thinks he gets better flavor from his H.357 (I can't tell the difference but after 25 years of smoking my taste buds are still recovering).

Ok guys, before completely giving up on the RM2 try building a low ohm coil. I tell you it vapes like nothing I've used to date. If I could get the courage to put myself out there I'd make a vid on how I make my dual coils that completely rock btw but I am guessing there's probably 1 already out there?

It's a personal thing. Atties do give a great vape for me, but the dry hits just...... kills me. Flooding is also a problem for me.

I come from a dripping background, so the RM2 is a no-brainer for me. My equation is simple: I can make the RM2 perform like an atty, a carto (why would I), an ultra-low ohm RBA, etc. All by varying the coil and wick.

Mind you, I used to roll my own analogs, so I just plain like to tinker :D

I heartily concur...I'm vaping a .8 ohm micro-coil in my RM2 right now using the Rene 41 wire pdib and Xobeloot conned me into buying and it is by far the best vape I've had to date. Amazing...wow...that's all I can say.

Maybe I got lucky with the build...I dunno...holy wah...

Can't wait for my r41 wire to get in. Gonna be a fun experiment, that's for sure. I'll need to order another RM2 so I can do side by side comparisons.
