Is it just my imagination or are an awful lot of vapers, cat people?

me! i keep a clowder of cats. that's the actual official term for a grouping of cats, it sounds much too cute doesn't it?
originally i just had one orange long hair manx cross. then a boss of mine wanted to give her cat to the spca when she was 7 months old. i, wanting a kitty friend for my kitty, decided to adopt her. then a couple years later i was asked to babysit a couple of older cats for some friends who do archaeological work in greece/italy for a few months of the year. when they dropped the cats off they let me know they were intending to move to europe to pursue higher education in their field, so they wouldn't be taking the cats back. but they said they would try once more to find suitable homes for them, and if anyone responsible i knew fell in love with them, they may have them. i found no one suitable and ended up keeping them. but i mean, if anyone did end up loving them, the idea was not to be heartbroken over letting one of the two go. i first started looking after them in may 2010, so i would be heartbroken to see them go. for now i'm kind of holding out for misslady to finish her phd and return (ahahaha), and then i would have kept her kitties safe and warm in her absence.
so ya. i am a vaper, and kind of a cat shepherd.

*cough* *cough* *cough* cats drool, dogs rule *cough* *cough* *cough* cat avatar? where :D

I am more of a Dog type person, though i will admit that i have a small furry overlord........i mean cat.....she was a rescue i did that was literally due or die for her.....seeing as she is such a tiny overlord, i have named her Mistress Minuette (though shortened to mittens)

One thing i noticed is when i am vaping strawberry or watermelon she likes to literally get in my face as she loves the smell. Oddly when i vape black cherry she tries to attack the smoke....

So are you saying 3 out of 5 PV users are cool with the kitties :)
Yes, have three myself, cats that is. One away from earning the Crazy Cat Lady Title. Someone mentioned here their cat comes around when vaping a juice....ME TOO....there is one I swear has a catnip component. I get mowed down and attacked. But again, I believe they think I have some interesting food, they have yet to nibble. They did the same thing with a scented cookie candle and could not figure out where the food was!!!!!
Cute thread :)

3 cats here too, one even has 3 legs  I wonder what it all means?

don't tell me this is going to be the new catch craze.....first it was planking....then owling....then it was the phrase took a arrow to the knee and now it is going to be I wonder what it all means? that's it........i am going to hide in the litter box from fear.......just feed my mittens some cat nip with it is safe to peek out.......

All jokes aside i love the cat avatars.....i think just by looking at the avatar you get a feel for the users sense of humor

First of all, I have to say that I agree with the old saying that dogs have owners. Cats have staff.
I always had big dogs when I was growing up. I love dogs but care and feeding of large dogs gets difficult if nobody is home all day.
Cats are independent enough that they can be left alone.
Most of my adult life, I have had more then one cat at a time (although, during that time, I have also had a dog, lots of fish, a gerbil, guinea pig and a rat).
My current overlords (aside from the wife and son) are a pair of rambunctious hairball producers.
The first is a male domestic long hair that a friend took in but could not keep as he was driving the other cat and dog nuts.
The other is a animal shelter rescue with one eye. The entire litter of kittens was abandoned and all had eye infections. The vet had to remove one of hers. For a cat with no depth perception, she does very well.
