Is it normal.. Say u take a mouth vape.. Just hold it in your mouth and then exhale it through your nose.. (No lung hit) is it normal for it to smell a little burnt and that kinda burns through your nasal tubes.. Or should i literally feel just the taste of the liquid... I am using a 24mg liquid.. If that makes a difference

And to add, this all started because I bought new flavors today, I had been vaping on a 24mg Dunhill Menthol for about a month (we dont have much flavor choice here lol) and today I got a Capuccino and berry blend juices, also 24mg.. but I can't vape on that... I am not sure if its my body used to the menthol but my throat would burn really bad and it tastes horribly burnt .. so I built a new coil, added menthol only and I am vaping again... I am not sure if the menthol is numbing my throat so I dont feel the same as with the non menthol juices but I am still inhaling burnt smoke.. or if is just an allergy to the new flavors ... but it still concerns me that the berry and cappuccino taste literally burnt ..

And I kinda know 24mg is high.. but I was sort of a heavy smoker and have been through the process.. of 8-12-16 and now 24mg I have found is what suits me ....

well 24mg liquid is very high to begin with. I assume you're somewhere around 2.4 ohms and using something like a kangertech tank. You want to replace those coils every 2-4 weeks or else they will start to burn. You also could just be being burnt by the nicotine concentration itself,

Wizard!! That is completely right.. I am using an evod right now, and it is a 2ohmish resistance (30AWG 10/9) wraps ... Can you please elaborate further.. does that have to do? I have just built a new coil.. (cause I was using the same for about 2 weeks) but I still feel that burntsy smell... If I do a lung hit and exhale through the nose it feels ok though .. but I am concerned I might be inhaling some bad smoke. I am newish to vaping but not that new.. been analog free for about 4 months now and have been making my own builds for a good part of that. I am sorry if I ask too much.. in my country vaping is totally new and almost nobody knows what it is or may have just heard of it and think is worse than analog because of the big tobacco companies propaganda and stuff.. so there is really nobody here that is an expert I can ask around. Thanks in advance!

No worries. Im glad to help, although Im not a super expert. You can either replace the coil entirely or just replace the wick. I dont usually replace my coils unless im bored and feel like making a new one. I am confused as to whether youre using an RBA or a factory built coil though. If its RBA try re-wicking, if its a factory built coil then just toss it and replace it.

I think its the nicotine to be honest. if you rewicked and re built try using 12mg juice, ive made my way from 18 down to 3mg. theres a huge difference between the levels even when you get down into the 6mg-3mg.

Are you on a RDA or an RBA? That's a huge difference! And I think I get the point, but I wish I could explain myself better... but these other juices, the berry and cappuccino taste like if I was burning plastic on the coils ...!

Cut down on the nic - go buy some Vg ( food Grade ) and add it to your liquid.

Though this will lower the nic and the flavour but will tell you if its the nic.

menthol liquid gives you a cool sensation and liquids like coffee and chocolate i found can be more noticeable if the watts are to high or wicking not good.

Just tried it with some Apple from CanadaEjuice. Wow that's apple-y lol
Haha just tried it myself with a mild menthol. Thought my nose was gonna get frost bite!

Agreed with the others - probably worth trying lower nic. Also replacing the coil or rewicking. On a tank setup, whenever I get that feeling I know it's time to pop in a new fresh coil (sometimes even the brand new ones are duds... heartbreaking!)

Just put down my rda and picked up my backup zmax with a nautilus tank, took a mouth hit, didn't inhale anything, and blew it straight out my nose. Yep. I get the burning sensation. Doesn't taste burned though.

BTW in the nautilus I have 6mg/ml nic juice, so 24mg/ml would burn more I reckon.

Won't be doing that again.
