I havent been able to put mine down since I started about 5 days ago. I was a pack and a half a day smoker. I think im inhaling even more nicotine now. I even feel a little light headed. Im thinking its just the novelty of it and Ill slow it down as time goes on. Im also assuming I would feel more uncomfortable symptoms before having any kind of a serious nic OD. But for 5 days straight I have been constantly vaping and feeling a little light-headed.

Sounds like what I did. Upping the strength of your juice might help you to get the nic you crave quicker, thus allowing you to put the e-cig down for a bit more. I started and stuck with 36mg nic liquid and found I vaped constantly when I switched over. I still do vape heavily but the thing isn't in my hands all the time now and I find I get away from it more and more as the novelty wears off. I think this is the same thing you are experiencing. It's new, it's different, your body is trying to kick a habit and adjust to this new thing, once it does it will become more normal for you.

I do the same at times, it is normal to vape more than smoking analogs. If I use 36 mg of Nic, after 3, or 4 puffs I feel light headed, and stop for the next hour. But with 24 mg of Nic I keep on going. You will eventually taper down to a normal pattern.

I don't think so. I have been vaping since April and I still vape 36 almost constantly. Occasionally I will start to get a headache and will slow down. Other than this I have had very few side effects. I smoked 3 packs a day for 40 year. Even vaping this much I no longer cough or experience any of the effect of smoking 40 years. I am so much better its almost unbelievable.

I've chain vaped pretty much since day one, but cut down on the nicotine level slowly. Anything over 18mg makes my ears ring, so I know I'm getting too much. Usually I'm vaping around 6-11mg these days.

If I had to do this outside (or if I worked where it wasn't allowed), I'd probably do it less.

I am also a chain vaporer!! It is my pacifier!! I started with 24mg and then went to 18mg cause 24mg chain vaping was too much. When I am at my computer with my passthru, I use 12mg so I can just vape for hours without the queazies and headache. I don't think there is "too much" as long as you don't feel bad!! :)

It might be time to ween yourself down to 24 mg, or cut the 36 mg to 30, or 28 mg.

My wife jokes with me that its never out of my hand, which is pretty true. As others have said, it will probably taper off. I started out 36mg to get over the hump, and after 4 months have cut back to 18mg. I dont feel like Im even doing it for the nicotine anymore, just vape like mad cuz I enjoy it so much. Even though we are vaping a lot, its better than smoking analogs and so much cheaper, so I dont worry about it. I would have done anything to finally quit smoking, just so happens that I found a way to quit, thats enjoyable.

I made the mistake of going with a low nic (8mg) the first day and found out very quickly that that level was much too low. I found that I was vaping all day trying to get the nic I needed. Now that I've upped it to 18mg, I pretty much only use it when I get a craving.

However, when I'm at the bar, I switch over to my low/no nic carts so I can chain vape as much as I like without getting that awful 'nic hangover' the next day.

I am also new to this and I vape 36mg pretty heavily. The only saving grace for me is that I work in a cubical. I could probably get away with vaping at my desk, I choose not to. For 8 hours out of the day at least I only vape once per hour. Even with that limitation I still vaped 16 cartomizers in 6 days 8-o Im definitely going to need to cut back soon.

I don't think it has anything to do with the model. 510, 801, 901, 410, doesn't matter to me... I even have a 5v passthrough and will sit and chain vape on that. I really had to cut down the nic level with that since the vapor pounds you with the nicotine when you increase the voltage.

I finally went and got a Little Chuck & Chuck battery mod so I could just vape away all day and not worry about batteries.

Heh heh, my wife says to me, "are you finding that you are getting more addicted to nicotine since you switched to e-cigs, cause you are puffing on that thing all the time?"

I said well yes and no, I am puffing on it more often but I only take like 2-3 drags at a time, then I set it down and do something else. I said to her, you are just noticing it more cause Im inside now.

I use 24 to 16mg juice. 16 sometimes doesnt quite do it, leaves me wanting more, whereas 24 mg hits the spot.

I also work in a cube and could probably get away with vaping here but thats what breaks are for. If I vaped at my cube, id never leave and my ... would go numb.
