I'm still waiting for my first e-cig to arrive in the mail (ordered Wednesday, should be here tomorrow or Monday) and I ordered a kit that had two complete cigs. I bought some extra juice and blank cartridges, but no extra batteries or atty. Now I'm wondering if I'm going to get into it like described here and find out I should have ordered about a dozen battery backups, a drawerful of atty's, and a gallon of juice! I smoke handroll analogs because I don't want the filter getting between me and the smoke, so I wonder if I'm going to be running down the hall at work to the bathroom every half hour to sneak some serious vapes..... I'm actually kind of excited at the thought...

I too have this issue. I even starting cutting my juice with VG to try and cut down the level of nicotine (I think I am getting)
I really don't think we are getting anywhere near the nicotine levels we were with analogs IMHO. But, to be safe, I am cutting my juice and sometimes going with "0" and a strong menthol (for the throat hit) and not really worrying too much.
I went to a Casino last night in Vicksburg MS and was getting diluted with smelly analog smoke. I love it.............. They smelled TERRIBLE TO ME.
I could have sold ten units if I were a retailer there alone.

I'm finding that the longer I vape, the less nicotine I'm needing. I started out with 36 mg, cut down to 18 a month later because it was giving me panic attacks. 18mg was fine for a couple months, and now I can't take anything over 11mg comfortably -- my ears start to ring.

Didn't make a conscious choice to cut down the nicotine strength; my body seems to be doing it for me. I do still chain-vape when I'm at home, though.

I've been to the casino a few times since I've got mine. It's a great place to advertise this. So many curious smokers (especially at the BlackJack table.)

First of all where in Louisiana do you live. I have been to Vicksburg thousands of times. I have also visited several of the casinos.

Next I noticed someone has the Little Chuck. What is the difference between it and the regular Chuck. I just ordered a Little Chuck today and I am wondering what it looks like. What size battery did you get?

Well looks like im not the only one! I think im gonna stick with 18 mg liquids. My 510 should arrive shortly and maybe the stronger hit (currently using SE Gold) with satisfy me for longer periods of time......not that I mind chain vaping like a freak.
There, that's what I wanted to see...you were a 1 1/2 pk a day smoker, you're on 18mg juice, that should be just about right....I smoked 2-3 pks a day and went from 18 to 24mg for about three months, and that seemed to make me settle down and not be so frenzied. Now I've dropped back to 18mg (with NO withdrawal, by the way!) and will do it again down to 12mg. But you need to give yourself time. Maybe with a 24mg juice you may be able to not vape so much, you'd have to make a direct effort to not do that. But the 'light-headed' feeling you have suggests you could be getting more than you need, to my notion. Light headed, nauseous, tired (sleepy feeling) all of those are flags for above previous consumption. "Head-ache", nervous stomach, flighty, all withdrawal flags. So it may well be you smoked a pack and a half, but you may have been a very shallow puffer, short shallow puffs, would mean that you were actually not consuming the full impact of nicotine in the cigs. If I were you I think I wouldn't go any higher, just vape less. Yes, I know, I've been at this for over 6 months and still can't put it down, now am loving the taste of the vapor!! It's a whole new world. Best of luck, welcome!!

I'm using 16340 1000mAh (all day run before recharging) from FocalPrice (They took foooooorevrrrrrr to get them here). I also have a Chuck/Fog Log from Jeff that uses the 18650 2500mAh (runs about 2 days). You can find them in a 3000 mAh. I also bought a TrustFire multifunction charger that will charge up both types of batteries.

I too vape a lot through the day with breaks in between my visits/stops and constantly at home in the evening/night. I started as you did with 36mg, then down to 24mg, now down to 18mg. So far after a few months of vaping it does appear that my body is demanding less of the nicotine. Now with Jc that I have that are 36mg its too much for me and its hard for me to vape frequently like I like too. So I will see in a month or two if I am going to need less.

Hello, my name is Max and I'm a nicoholic.

I started with 18mg, then went to 24mg, then 36mg...

Last night I vaped straight 48mg. I liked it. Did it again this morning for my wake-up vape but then switched to 30mg juice for the all-day stuff.

Still feel okay, no nausea, headache or light-headedness (well, not a lot). I have tinnitus so my ears ring 24/7 anyway.

I'm not even sure what would constitute chain vaping. I got my first e-cig yesterday and haven't touched an analog since the first hit on the e-cig. I've only had a couple times in the past couple days where I took two or more hits in a row. I usually do a 5-second draw, put the 510 aside, and hit it again 15 to 30 minutes later, except at work, where I only took a mid-morning and mid-afternoon break to stealth vape in the elevator.

Heck, I thought this wasn't going to end up saving me any money, but I'm still on the first pre-filled cart that came with the 510 (18 mg Marlboro), so maybe it is a cost-saver. All I know is that I love the flavor, the throat hit, the glow of the LED, the feel of the e-cig in my hand, the absence of smell....I haven't found anything I don't like about it!

So, just wondering: What would anyone consider heavy vaping? Do you measure it in terms of ml of juice you consume each day?

The mg stated on analogs is what is typically absorbed.

The mg stated on juice is what is in the liquid. Only about 1/3 of that is absorbed, possibly a fair bit lower (some tests have said as low as 10%; but the maximum is probably 40%). Let's say 30%*.

A box of 20 standard type cigs gives aboout 20mg nicotine (20 x 1mg).

2ml of 36mg liquid will give about 2 x 36 x 0.3 = about the same : 20mg absorbed.

So 1 box of cigs is roughly equivalent to 2ml of 36mg juice or 3ml of 24mg juice.

510 / 901 carts can hold about 0.5ml (at most); so 2ml is about 4-5 carts.
(Some other carts are bigger)

So if you'be just vaped 2ml of 36mg and calculated that as equivalent to 60 cigaretes - don't panic, it is not; it is about 20, perhaps less, in real terms.

~~~
* Some tests by DVap confirm that only about 45% of the nicotine in the liquid gets into the vapor. Allow for some further losses, exhalation and non-absorption and 30% is a reasonable estimate.
