So my favorite juice is AIVL's April moon. I just got more in the mail let it steep a little loaded it up with a fresh wick inside put it on my new mvp 2 and tasted kinda like I remembered. Then put it on my x6 which I was using the last time I had this juice. BOOM Just like I remembered! I have the x6 at its lowest setting which is 3.3 volts. Put the mvp in the same place at 6.5 watts. Closer but still not the same. Took it down to 6.0, not a whole lot of difference. Whats the deal??? I feel like I have everything almost identical.

You're using the same tank/coil for both tests, correct? I have also found that different batteries/mods make my liquid taste different at the same settings. Though not positive. Would love a complete answer to this.

I would say at least 2 variables could make a difference:
1. 3.3V could be different on the devices depending on how accurate they are
2. The amount of airflow your topper is getting can be different on different devices

Happy Vaping :toast:

Cheers,
Steve

Variable wattage ain't all that.

Yeah, I said it. Let the flaming begin. :D

Actually, although the MVP in variable voltage mode is superb (flatline on an oscelloscope just like a Provari), it wasn't so hot in variable wattage mode if you watch the PBusardo review on YouTube.

Hi Bad,
Not flaming you at all. If you look at the points on the follow up review it was pointed out the reason the VW was off was because of a limitation of the device. It won't fire lower than 3.3v or higher than5.0v. So if the combination of the resistance of the head and power setting (watts) you select doesn't fall between 3.3-5.0v needed to get you there, it will be off.

That all being said, I use my MVP2 in the VV mode almost exclusively.

Cheers,
Steve
