Is it possible to leave a null rating for a thread/

I was trying to rate a thread. This one:

Some times those thread helper drop boxes don't stay open. So the "Rate This Thread" drop box did that. When I opened it again and got a rating in, this time it says I already rated the thread. The thread itself shows no rating at all though.

I was trying to give it five stars. Right now it shows no stars. What happened?

It shows a 5-star rating for me right at the moment. Perhaps it's just one of those things that doesn't update in real-time?
