Is it really watermelon????

Hi All,
I got the Watermelon flavored carto's for my wife and, well, it doesn't taste like watermelon. It has a taste of Cantalope. Not sweet/tart like watermelon. Bland like the cantalope and I eat enough of it to know the difference on both. This might have been marked wrong or the flavor is really off. Its not bad, just NOT Watermelon.
Any ideas on what might have happened or has anyone else have this taste??

I think its perfect... once again it comes down to taste being subjective

One other thing I like about it is the flavor isn't TOO intense. It has a nice aftertaste. Sorry had to defend it, its one of my absolute favorites!

I had ordered watermelon before its not bad its melony with a hint of watermelon I supposed the flavor can be tweaked a little bit but its enjoyable I ordered a juice of it to refill my watermelon cartos.

I can taste the watermelon in the ones I ordered, but it's not one of my favorite vapes. I'm finding out as I go along I like the creamy, richer flavors like caramels, coffees, coconutty stuff, seems like these kinds of flavors taste truer to me for some reason. But pear is great, it is the truest fruit flavor I've had and the peach cobbler is the bomb.

I hear ya. The fruit carts are at the bottom of the rung for me, outside of the odd Cherry cart which is a must for me.

The 555, coffee, frappucino, butterscotch...now THAT'S flavor.

Pugz...you and I have the same vaping taste so my guess is that you will really like the 555...it's my fave and we seem to like the same flavors.

I dunno... it tastes like melony awesome to me. I don't know what melon, but it's good and I happily vape it!

To me, the carts taste almost exactly like a watermelon jolly rancher. I tend to like to richer, creamier flavors as well. IMO, the pear tastes a lot like pineapple...

To me pear is ...well pear! perfect. But watermelon is just too odd for me.. but it does have a hint of watermelon.

The old watermelon was one of my favorites, and I think Blue Skies is right, it's more like a watermelon candy than real watermelon.

BUT...

I just flavor tested our NEW watermelon, which will ship before Chinese New Year, and it is AWESOME!!!! It tastes just like fresh watermelon juice, one of my favorite drinks! ANd BOY is the flavor strong!!

I'm gonna have them make a couple extra cartons of that just for me.

I got the fruit and Berry samplers and I gotta say. It does come down to taste buds LOL Myself and a group of friends sat around and sampled them and rinsed with water in between.

I wasn't at all crazy about the watermelon. I did really like the grape, pear, and raspberry. I found the Blueberry to taste the weirdest. I have some more taste testing to do on the fruits. Man do I love the menthols though mmm!

yeah, the fruits are hit and miss for me... i think a few of them could use some tweaking. was surprised when i started vaping cause i thought fruit flavors would be the easiest to replicate. excited about a new watermelon!

I have some watermelons cartos too. They do taste like watermelon jolly ranchers candy. They're not tart but they are delicious. Now that you mentioned they taste like cantalopes, I'm going to have to vape a watermelon tonite to see if they do taste like cantalopes to me. =)

at 3.7V the watermelon is faint and weak but on my 6V the watermelon is WHAM BAM WATERMELON MAN !!!! Its definately right on !

Im sorry Leaford but your taste buds and my taste buds just dont jive. Do you have a list of the flavors that you have tweaked?

BTW, have you tried the cinnamon bun, carmel moca frapp, smilin special, whiskey, tequila, chocolate, menthol, mint, kamel, kamel menthol, irish cream, peach cobbler, espresso, et et et....we have tons of intense flavors. More than Anybody, in the WORLD

I got watermelon from strictly ejuice but I only got the tiny bottle to try it. I'm sad I only got the small one because I really like it. Unfortunately I think I'm going to wait off on buying anything from them for a while so I know I won't be tasting it again.

I did order fruit punch from litecig. I hope it's tasty cause I love fruity flav's.

I have tried all of those steve except whiskey and tequila. I love them all except cinnamon bun, Just cant taste any cinnamon in all of the cinnamon flavored carts you have. I may have switched to a HV Mod but i still use Cartomizers exclusively. And you have kept me SMILIN !!!!
