Is it safe to keep ego-c in pocket

Is it safe to carry my ego-c in my pocket? I'm not worried about leaking, I just don't want the battery to explode.

you just have to be careful about the button getting pressed. I did this a few weeks ago with a tank setup and didn't realize it was pressed in until my leg started getting REALLLY hot. Luckily no damage was done to the tank, batt or myself You may want to get something to protect that from happening though...i know they sell ego lanyards so you can hang it around your neck, if that's your thing.

You have to have a healthy respect with a lithium batt, I am very careful where and how I recharge my ego , I wouldnt want to put one in my pocket if there was a chance it might get sat apon

Egos have a safety turn off just click the button 5 times and it turns the battery off so you don't have to worry about it going off in you pocket and you turn it back on the same way. Also it shouldn't leak in your pocket unless your upside down on monkey bars but when you pull it out of your pocket screw off your battery and check to see if liquid has made its way to the battery post if it did just simply grab a piece of tissue/paper towel and twist up a corner of paper and stuff it in there and twist it around to get the gunk off the treads and post.

Welcome. I keep my eGo manual in a pen pocket all day. I'm just careful to turn it off like was said earlier. A lot of times when I carry all 3 pv's I'll up one on a lanyard around my neck and the other in a pouch that is built into my pants. If I sit down though I always take the one out of my pants pouch. I don't want to kill my vmax.

I also put my PVs in pocket BUT, as tnt56 has said, be careful when you sit down as the weak point is where the carto or clearo is connected to the PV. You don't want to stress that connection point as I did once and it bent my Vivi Nova a little bit.

Thanks for the responses. I did know to click five times. I'll be sure to keep a napkin with me to keep the connections clean. I was just a bit worried being new to PVs and didn't want to blow a hole in my leg.
Ps. I bought the silicone caps and they have only leaked insignificant amounts when I was fiddling with it.

Never heard of a battery blowing up unless it was being charged at that time.
The charger puts the energy into it.
