Is it safe?

So I gotten this 28ga kanthal a1 wire for my coil. Was trying to vape at different ohms, mainly 1.5 1 and 0.7. I find it preferably to vape at .7 but I only using 4 wraps for my coil. Is it safe to use as I don't have a resistance meter beside my mod. I'm asking cause I know to hit sub ohm should use lower gauge wire.

sub ohming is anything below 1.0. thats the basis of sub-ohming. As to whether or not it is safe, it depends on your mod. most mods fire down to 0.05 to 0.3. at 0.7 you are fine. and using lower guage wire only allows you to have more wraps and get more flavour/clouds. but with lower guage wires, its common to go higher on the wattage as it has a significant ramp up time. whatever the case, 28g is fine for you. if you wanna go lower, you can always do 28g twisted wire or go for dual coil.

yup definitely. 6wrap twisted 28g with a 2.5mm diameter should come to about 0.6ohms

anyway why i did 7 wrap twisted coil 28ag, with only the chimney its 0.6ohm but when put into tank and it became 0.1 ~ 0.2ohm connection problem??

before i put on the chimney cap it's constant at 0.7ohm but when i put on the cap it dropped to 0.2!!!?

found out why ald, coil was touching cap.

An update, twisted coil really got a lot diff, the dense flavor and the cloud. But I'm sure batt sure die sooner or later haha

Kanger Subox -- then you should be safe. As its name states it does sub-ohm, supporting down to 0.3 ohms, so 0.7 is easy-peasy.

Subohming at 0.5ohm, 6wraps with twisted 28ga. Lots of vapor and dense flavor. Loving it, wonder if going down to 24/26ga, more twisted wraps say 10~12 will produce better results, due to more surface area. anyone tried???

I'm using the small screw driver to make my own coil, should be 2mm? Use drilling machine to make twisted coil. Worth your time. One time make maybe 1 meter plus? Haha
