As far as 510 connection goes, I use the adapter for it -avoiding all problems. They also have this new adapter out
Eleaf iStick Bending Adapter

Another cool thing out for the istick is this...
Eleaf iStick Leather Case

bendover adapter;

cool;
this can go on any 510 tube mod, to make it more pocket friendly.

Love my three iSticks. More power and smaller size than my MVP 2.0. Just need to be careful the 510 connector. I grease the threads on the iStick and on my tanks/attys and take care not too cross thread. Lack of a floating/adjustable 510 pin is only drawback as my Erlkonigin won't fire. 20 watts is sufficient power for mouth to lung vaping on my flavor chasing drippers like the Magma and Veritas. Just got a 30 watt ipv mini for the occasional cloud chasing session on my Tobh.

I don't know if you have seen the bending adapter for the iStick. It screws in to your 510 and adds a spring loaded 510 connector and anything you screw in, screws in to it - so it saves your threads too. I got mine for about $5 from Discount Vaper. They are out of stock right now, but there are other places you might get it. Well worth it in my opinion.

Just checked and sweet-vapes have them for $8 but I am not sure that's the least expensive place, but they are in stock.

I just got mine a few days ago and used to have about 6 eGo "type" sticks and I did a happy dance when I got to unplug them all and put aside!! I LOVE my iStick! My god, waiting for all those to charge etc was such a HUGE PIA I cannot tell you!! Not to mention thought I was going insane, because I couldn't taste the juice anymore!! I don't know what the issue was but eventually they all came to this "blah" taste! My very first hit when I got my iStick, I was blown away with taste!! If they go on sale, I may want another just as a backup. I still have to make my own coils but that totally saves $. I say go for it. Got mine on Ebay for something like $34... You won't regret it!

Oh and PS: I tried the highest levels just to check it out, and wow, YUCK! Can't understand how people can vape at such high levels!!! So, start small as a warning!

The eleaf istick is definitely worth the purchase. I'm loving mine so much I have sold most of my other devices and would get rid of everything but the istick. I'm using a kangertech genitank and a genitank mega and love them also. I tried the aspire nautilus but didn't like the airflow as much as I did on the genitank. Good luck I hope you like whatever you end up buying!

Ditto this setup! Luv it! What are your sweet spot settings? Can't decide if I like 3.4V & 7.3W or 3.6 V & 8.5W.

Remember the istick overvolts by about 1v. so on the istick screen 3.4v @7.3Watts is actually closer to 4.4V @ 10watts and so on. That said I hover around 3.4v-3.6v like you but have seen guys rocking the naughtilus bvc coils at 15watts no problem.

Yes. I love mine. The only drawbacks that I can think of are that some of my tanks and attys don't make a connection. I've seen previews of an accessory/add-on that will add a spring loaded 510 connector on top which would take care of that. (Edit- After reading some posts from earlier in this thread, I just saw that the iLeaf Bending Adapter is out now for about 8 bucks - will definitely be picking one of these up). Also, it will not fire below 1ohm. I'm not a sub-ohm user typically, but sometimes I plan a build at 1ohm and it comes out to 0.9 ohms and won't fire, which can be frustrating. That's the bad.

The good:

Small and stealthy, dead simple operation, excellent battery life. I can easily get a full day (7am - midnight) on a single charge, I have gotten up to two days before, but obviously it depends on which device I am using with it and how many watts I am pushing through it. As far as charge time goes, I haven't timed it. I just charge it at night wile I sleep and am good to go the whole next day. Also, I am not a high power user, so 20 watts is very sufficient for my needs. If I recall PBusardo did a review on it and, as always with his excellent research, charts and graphs, he showed that even though it's rated at 20w, it actually puts out just a little bit more than that.

All things considered, IMHO, it is a great device for what it is, and at around
$30, I think it's affordable and worth every penny.

I love using mine with Nautilus tanks, Big Drippers, Kayfuns, and have given my new Aqua V2 a spin in it - all good!

If the OP doesn't mind me butting in for a second I'd like to ask a question?
Love my carto tanks. Originally ordered the two nautilus' s for istick cuz I heard people were burning up cartos cuz the istick runs higher/hotter than standard. So im curious as to what ohm cartos you are using successfully on the istick without burning em up? Maybe your juice pg/vg ratio too? I appreciate the input :)

I use pretty much 100% VG/high VG juices on either a 1.6 or 1.8 BVC. Also, it should be noted that, either the ohm meter in the iLeaf is off a bit, most of the Aspire coils I've dealt with are usually +/- .2 ohms. Currently, my 1.8 ohm coil head is reading at 2.0 ohms. Haven't had a bit of trouble. I try to make sure not to go over 5V, which with my 2 ohm coil head comes in at about 12.5 watts. Awesome flavor, vape, Vape "volume" and a decent throat hit.

Good luck!

Hi guys this is my first post and I'd like you're expert opinion on this.

I've been vaping for about four or five months no am thinking of upgrading my setup, I'm currently using an aspire bdc and ego c-twist setup but was thinking of getting the eleaf istick and a nautilus mini, is this a good route to go? having spent a few hours reading the forums it seems there is some controversy about the istick's displayed wattage, mostly over my head but it seems the advice is to just dial it back and most people seem to be delighted with it. Should i go for it and get the ileaf, which i presume i'd have no problems with paired with a nautilus mini or should i wait for a v2.0 or innokin v.3? btw I'm not into sub ohming, dripping or any of that fancy stuff... I just want a reliable setup that is easy to use, has minimum maintenance, but is a good step up from the starter kits.

Feel free to recomend an alternative setup, I am looking at a smok rocket and vamo v6 but am not sure if it is worth the price difference, especially when you factor in batteries and chargers.

Thanks in advance.
I haven't had any problem with the iStick. I do use a nautilus mini on it. When I use my Sigelei Zmax (tele), I set it to mean, so I don't have any problems with it especially with the Nautilus on it. Other heads have a tendency to burn. I used nothing but evod heads, Protanks, etc... and they always have a chance of getting too hot and giving you a burnt taste especially on 'mean' mode. I'm not knocking Kanger heads. They're just built for lower power from my experience with them. So Yes, it is worth buying an Istick. Everyone has different experiences with all of these mods, so this is just what I've experienced so far. I may just get another iStick after the Holidays. :) Hope this helps.
