To the OP, im a mother and have 2 sons. I think when it comes down to everything, YOU have to make the decision based on what YOU honestly feel is right. Obviously coming here and asking us what we think ( now I could be wrong so I apologize if Im wrong) shows that you are very worried about what people think. Wrong or right, you cant constantly let that attitude sway you.

No matter how much we study what makes good parenting, all the good intentions might end up backfiring on us. Kids do what they will do, most turn out fine but some end up bad no matter how much we try to set good examples. But, as long as you go with what YOU feel is right, there will be no regrets or thinking that you should or not have listened to other peoples advise.

Go with your own morals.

I have to say I'd be reluctant to bring my kids to a vape shop. The ones I've been to have been filled with people vaping - which makes it less equivalent to a grocery store and more equivalent to a cigar lounge. I have read the studies that say nicotine in 2nd hand vapor is not an issue but I don't really believe it - especially not in high concentrations. But I wouldn't think you an awful parent for bringing a child to a vape shop - I just would choose not to.

I wouldn't have a problem seeing a parent and small child in a vape store. As for being labeled as a bad parent...these days no matter what you do someone is going to say you're a bad parent no matter what you do. For perspective....When I was young my mother used to send me to the store to buy her smokes for her sometimes and she was the a the best parent ever.

Wow thank you all for the feedback. I have always been naturally worried about what people thought of me, so that is why I asked. I just didn't want to get fingers pointed and have people whisper behind my back. For this time, my hubby just stayed in the car with my daughter, while I went in to take care of business. I in no way think what I am doing is wrong or illegal.

Our vape shop isn't overly busy (at least when I have been there) so there aren't plumes of vapor everywhere. So I would feel comfortable taking my daughter in.

I don't know, I guess I just wanted other people's opinions on the matter!

Thanks so much!
