Either a regular Ego or a 510 starter set is what i would suggest over the T for a first timer. I remember when i first made the switch about 2 years ago and had my hands full with just figuring out the basic 510 stuff. How much fluid, atty life etc. Love the Ego, don't have a T yet but may try one out in the future. For a first vape device though i think the T may be abit much especially during those first few twitchy days when your body is going through withdraw from all the other chemicals that are in a normal cig but not an ecig.

Cheers makes me feel more confident on my purchase I appreciate it. I'm hoping this will work for me as well to quit smoking

Just got my new eGo-T a few hours in the mail, still vaping the default 8mg juice. I love it so far, and got it because I figured it would be *easier*, not harder, for a newbie because I would not have to deal with filler. After reading this thread am a bit scared - I have no idea what to do with the wick or whatever if something goes wrong. Right now it just works - I press the button and presto! Hopefully it will not start leaking. I am still getting used to my draw technique - I find that if I draw slower, it is a better experience.

Beachman welcome to ecf, i too am new to vaping, (3weeks), wish i would have read the forums about ego-t, my first kit is a regular ego and i ordered an ego-t atty. At first i loved the ego-t, but recently had some problems with it as far as the vapor issues, now i am using the regular atty that came with my original kit the 510 atty, so i got to try the best of both products. Most ego-t kits cost $60-$80, i purchased mine from cignot.com - regular ego kit $45, ego-t atty $16, ego-t carts $7, 16ml juice $12, total $80 which also included shipping.

i just received the lr atty for the ego t, love it now, but with the regular atty not so much
