Is more vapor what helped you quit smoking

I've been vaping for a few months now, starting with the EVOD. While using it, even with high nic juice (18-24mg) smokes still felt better. After a while I switched to the CLK 1280 with a Genitank, I started enjoying vaping more than smoking, and even when I smoked, I wanted my vape instead.

Now I have a Aspire CF sub with an Omega clone at 0.9, smoking just doesn't compare, I don't feel like I'm getting anything off of it. To compare, it was like a cigarette compared to a very early e-cig.

Had a smoke today and am now realizing just how nasty it tastes. Does any one else find they get more satisfaction from the amount of vapor/smoke rather then the nic?

No, I quit with a semi regulated E-Power 14650 and cartos. That was about 3.4V. The carto tank I use now on a Sigelei V5 makes more vapor with more watts and better regulation but I'm not looking for more. Upgrading to the Sigelei was motivated by a desire for solid voltage regulation and longer run times between battery charges, not more vapor. All of the other benefits were extras.

Not really. Quit cold when I switched. Even put my own sort of Cig-a-like kits together trying to get something better than Gas Station crap.
Moved quickly to Egos/Clearos, but there wasn't much else then unless you had DEEP Pockets.

I can vape any style that I wish now with a little of everything in my collection. I like to cut loose with thick clounds now and then and I carry Cartos to work.(Stealth)

I started vaping in 2006 and quit within a month of first beginning using only this! This was the only product that was on the market at that point in time.

I know right? I started on a $250 Greensmoke kit. 2 little "cigalikes" 5 tobacco flavored cartridges and a charger in a dinky box. I continued to smoke. Then they came out with eGo batteries and still, I continued to smoke. I didn't get to vaping exclusively until I bought my first mod. An Empire mod with dripping attys. That did the trick. It was a hand-crafted beauty with a 901 connection. I regret selling it.

Nope - 5 years ago I quit smoking using a Joye 510

Smoked my last cig while the batteries were charging. I think I got 2 batts, 2 atties and a charging case for about $100. Best money I ever spent.

EDIT: If I'm honest, looking back, it was the nic buzz that hooked me on smoking and I got it with that first vape. That's when I realized this was a realistic alternative to smoking for me.

I started with an EVOD starter kit with 1.8 ohm coils. I found it wasn't so much the amount of vapor but if the flavor made me go "...mmmmmm". That was all I needed.

I'm more of a flavor junkie than a cloud chaser. I guess that's why I'm running a single 1.3 ohm coil build on my Odin on a Reo right now! LOL!

i vape in the 80 watt range with 50mg/ml juice.

Holy shizzle beck, you're an animal.... I would die taking lung rips from anything above 6mg.....

Oh, and no to the OP. I completely quit using a 510 kit with LR cartos (1.8 was low resistance back then lol) and 18mg 80/20 menthol liquid. Didn't take much for me. I'm a fan of more vapor now for sure, but at the time I was just thrilled to be off the cigs.

I quit for a few months with a 510, then went back to smoking for roughly a year, and re-quit almost 6 months ago with an ego. Moved up to 15 watts, and wanted to go higher basically immediately. A few months later, got some mechs, and I'm sitting quite happily around 40-60 watts.

So, it didn't help me quit per se, but I'm finally getting the vape I've been looking for. There's no doubt it'll enable me to stay quit.
