It's great to want to sub-ohm and get a mech but those suggestions should always come with strong suggestions to read an understand how to use the equipment safely.

The worst "offenders", if you will, are the YT folks that wrap a coil and state "I know from experience this will ohm out at around 0.5".

And I know from experience that rebuilding things without testing occasionally results in damage.

I think wrapping coils without a method to test them is like reloading ammunition without a powder measure.

For somebody who has a really tight budget, one thing they really should get is a multimeter;
You can't make a multimeter yourself, but you can always make a mech mod out of tube or box; you can even use easy to work with pvc tubing;

I mean once you purchase the battery and mod its really done deal , theres no point in buying a multimeter since its highly unlikely it would explode if the battery was too far great for the mod and atomizer. i dont know if i should waste my 7.99 for a multimeter

A Multi Meter is a Tool.

You can Use it to Measure Ohms on your Atomizer/Coil. Check the Voltage of a Freshly Charged Battery from your Charger. Check the Voltage of a Drained Battery from your Mech Mod. Even see if your Wall Outlet is "Live" while Trying to figure out why your something might not be Working.

And Yes... Spending 8 Bucks on a Tool Like this is Probably Throwing your Money Away. Spend $20 ~ $30 and get a Decent DMM.

BTW - How much did you Spend Every Month when your Smoked?

youre using a mech.... a multimeter is part of the "system"

vaping on a mech without a meter is like driving a car that consist of wheels, motor, and a frame nothing else....

I used to say that it's akin to jumping from an airplane without a parachute; you only need one if you want to keep doing it! ;)

Sod all that safety stuff, far too time-consuming and irrelevant anyway, since it's obvious i was put on earth to be able to wrap coils from birth from any wires at all to precise tolerances.

Only got 24g - no problem - just run it thru my teeth a couple of times to thin it out. Pfft mechanical mods - tube and a battery and a switch - i'm 20, so stuff mr Ohms and all his pals - they are 3 centuries out of date anyway right?

Ought to be able to do a survey and get a free meter on the internet anyway - no?

2 things: buy the meter, buy a GOOD charger. Thank me when you reach 40. No, i'm not your Bro!
