Is my 18650 Re-Wrap safe ?

Hello Guys, today i got into the world of extending the life of my battery's with wrapping.
about an hour ago, i did my first to Wraps- on 2x Samsung 18650 25R's.

BUT! i think i hit one of the insulations with a bit of too much heat. and now it looks like this

my question.-
CAN i use my battery Safely on my smok G320 ? or should i buy a new one ...

Well, I have some clear wrap on Them. And if You look closely, You Can even see it..

Really? I looked closely, and still didn't see it, even with my glasses. Then again that doesn't mean much.

If you sorta nudge the edge of the insulator where it's slightly turned back (with a non-conductive nudger) can you get it a little flatter. It doesn't look terrible and it appears the metal is covered, but then again, I cant's see the transparent wrap anyway, so don't go by my eyes. If in doubt throw on a new insulator. You can buy a bunch of them for just a few dollars, and they're always handy to have around.

Well, I have some clear wrap on Them. And if You look closely, You Can even see it..

Looks ok to me. AS long as you don't expose the metal beneath it should work well. for furture wraps, I'd recommend colored wrappers. That way if a tear forms, you can clearly see it (@sonicbomb). I like to put printed paper inserts under my wraps for creativity. Though, they make the battery slightly bulkier and harder to slide in and out of somma my tubes.

I just bought some clear ones, just for trying it out. And if You all Think that the batterys look OK, Iam gonna try Them.
My biggest fear, is having A mod blowing up in my face. So had to ask You all.!

Personally i would love some custom skins, buy i dont have A HQ printer so have kept Them of...
