Hey guys,

So I just re-wrapped one of my Samsung 30T’s. However the wrap was a little longer than I expected. And when I was done the wrap was over / covering the white insulation disc. The disc is definitely there, but it’s hard to see as it’s under the wrap.

please tell me if this is safe to use? I use mostly mechs and just want to make sure.

please see the pics below the black battery is the one i RE-wrapped and the other one is just a factory wrapped Samsung 30T.

Thanks for the reply. I mean is it safe that the wrap is covering the insulator ring? I guess in theory that should make it “extra safe” but just wanted to make sure.

I like to Fully Cover the Insulator Ring when I do a Re-Wrap. It just Looks like how it should be. And not like the Ring is going to somehow Pop Out.

is it safe that the wrap is covering the insulator ring?

Yes, just consider it double insulated. However, just keep an eye on it, that it doesn't start to get snagged on the battery charger contacts as you remove and insert the battery. It may even start to curl causing a snag to be more likely to happen.

Otherwise it's all good and it will work fine and be safe in a mech as it is in the picture.
