After such a great welcome to my very first thread today, - and thank you for that to all those who went to the trouble of responding :) - I thought I'd have a go at another question that's been on my mind...

My new ecig is a Truvape, Tru HYBRID, it cost me £20 in a shop in my town, the liquid is a tobacco flavour called Rainbow, with a cost of £4, both of these I now realise are available for around the same price on the Truvape website. I just wondered if this is a reputable Make/model, that I can, you know, trust?

Is anyone else aware of this Make/Model, and is it fairly reputable?

Thanks

Looks to be an ego type battery with a mini protank clone (drip tip does not come off). There should be nothing dangerous about this.

Your battery has both ego & 510 threads so if you ever wish to put another tank on it you will have many options.

Thanks Guys!

Susan, sorry, I'm really not sure what any of that means, because I've only been vaping for under a week so I'm quite unfamiliar with the jargon. I didn't do any research before walking into my local ecig shop, and basically just took the one that the bloke behind the counter recommended as a "good starter". However, it does seem like you're saying that you googled my Truvape and that it seems ok? :)

Yes! That's exactly the one!! Em, how exactly did you know I'd choose the pink one?? Lol. So it looks good then? No issues you can see?
Looks great! No issues. Use the charger it came with, unplug it when it's done charging, try not to leave it charging overnight. This applies to all batteries, not just yours.

Regarding eliquid, I have heard good things about eliquid from Decadent Vapors in England.:)

Here are some other sites I have seen members post:

1. Paradise Vape UK
2. The Vapor Salon
3. UK Vapers for UK shops and liquid makers.
4. Digbys Juices (The Dr Jekyl and Mums Custard are rated.)
5. Kraken Ecigs
6. Vapemunki-Eliquids
7. Imported USA Juice: Spiritus Vapes (Be warned that these juices are higher cost due to import fees to the UK)
8. CloudHouseVapor - The European Source For American Made E-Liquids
9. You can browse UK Vapers for UK shops and liquid makers.

Just lucky :D (google image gave me the pink)
Your device is 510 threaded (see Susans graphic) but NOT EGO threaded.

You can get an "510-Ego" adapter for a few quid making your battery compatible with 99% of the products in the market.

Thank you Reverend, I'll do just that :)

I'm actually really enjoying checking out the locations of some of the members here, Amarillo, Atlanta, Las Vegas, New Orleans?... Ha, I'm from Scotland, and to me these are all such exotic places, many of whom I know songs about, or, indeed, have favourite TV series' set in those places, lol, you're all such a long way away, and yet you've all been so ready to help a wee Scottish lass! Good people!! xx

I've never been out of the US, but for what it's worth, I HAVE worn a kilt. My brother in law is of Scottish descent, and he requested all kilts (clan Campbell, I think) for the wedding party.

Always glad to help. Lots of people willing to take time out around here.
