RDA Is my hellboy v.1 authentic?

I waited and saved up for my authentic hellboy rda from my local b&m, I posted a question previously and it pushed me towards the authentic, My local store had both the authentic and clone available. The clone was in less fancy packaging, came with less extras (no chuff cap, no 510 reducing option, no extra o-rings and only 1 extra set screw.) So I was excited to see all the extras and option, but now I am seeing that this is also a clone kit...?!?!?! Even with the certificate of authenticity? !? Did I buy a better then average clone or what? My hellboy is serial numbered and even has the new "hellboy" font as to not infringe on the comics, im hoping I got what I paid for....89.99

I seen that started the thread Authentic vs. Clone" earlier this month. I'm just gonna have to say it - This is EXACTLY why I buy clones.

Some clones are so good, you can't tell if it's a clone or the real deal. I'd rather spend $15 on a good clone then $90 on a good clone passed off as authentic any day.

I think the questions you should be asking yourself are "how reputable is the B&M?" and "do you trust them?"

If they charged you $90 for an authentic, you should have an authentic. But sadly, in the world we live in that is not always the case.

Please do not take this as me being rude in any way. I am just saying it would be next to impossible to tell you if you have a clone or an authentic.

Yep, I had a B&M sell me a clone as authentic. I believe it was an honest mistake on their part, and they promptly refunded my money. The next time I went into the store they had moved all of the suspect RDAs to their clone section of the display case. They have since stopped selling clones.

I guess if you have suspicions - and can make a strong case with the seller - take it back and calmly express your concerns. A reputable seller will do the right thing. My shop has a life-long customer after taking care of me.

Haven't been back since as I now am positive its a clone, as it's my first RDA, I have no baseline for comparison other than my stock tron-s tank. But I must say Its AMAZING! ! Flavor, clouds and nice warm vape. Exactly what I was looking for. A shame if I did get taken for, but I love it so much it hurts so much less. If the clones are this good can't imagine a authentic being that much better.

You really should go back there and get it taken care of. It will maybe give them pause the next time they try to do the same thing to someone else.

Its a little daunting to go in and question their business practices, especially if I am in there on a weekly basis and the guys will have ten reasons why its authentic for every one of my clone arguments. I was looking for concrete proof it was a clone which I why I created this thread ( got none from this thread mind you) . I am 98% percent sure its a clone but I don't wanna pull the trigger, be wrong about this then be the pariah of my local b&m for calling them out. I am super happy with the RDA What ever its true orgins are. As no one verifies serial numbers or even keeps a record of these rda's numbers I think my battle was lost before it started.

Regardless of your desire to not ruffle feathers at your B&M, you'd be doing a disservice to their other customers not to address the issue with them.

I'm guessing this is what you have, cloned packaging and all:

$11.08 Hellboy Styled RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / silver at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

.... ME.... $11.08 prolly should have ordered 8 from fasttech.you sir just kicked my 98% to 100%. The clones were much cheaper and in a different container. Very very sneaky indeed. I'll have to say somthing this weekly visit. Was worried before, but that link you posted is verbatim my RDA. I'll show them this link forsure... the font tho, the font was much different on all clones I've seen thus far. But this is my exact font and everything. I read they changed it after a cease and desist from the studios, so they tweaked it a little. Never in a million years would expect a clone to worry about stuff like that.
