Sadly, for many there is no scratch in their wallet after food, generic medicines, housing, medical expenses, etc. Nothing else is a factor.Sadly, the only consideration for some is how much scratch they have to remove from their wallet to purchase something. Nothing else is a factor.
Is that person you?Sadly, for many there is no scratch in their wallet after food, generic medicines, housing, medical expenses, etc. Nothing else is a factor.
My post was not a troll or a personal attack in any way. It was a response to your post, which was neither a troll or a personal attack either.I guess you didn't read Classy's post above yours.
One member posting here has claimed he/she is retired and in his/her 50's. If one can retire at that age I suspect they are doing OK financially. So I guess claiming poverty wouldn't work for them, no?My post was not a troll or a personal attack in any way. It was a response to your post, which was neither a troll or a personal attack either.
Yes.Is that person you?
Now you are getting into personal attacks. One member posting here has claimed he/she is retired and in his/her 50's. If one can retire at that age I suspect they are doing OK financially. So I guess claiming poverty wouldn't work for them, no?
I mentioned no names therefore it is not personal. And yes, I do know their situation because they said it.Now you are getting into personal attacks.
You have no idea of other's situations, so don't go there.
But under that logic you should also prefer pirated DVDs, generic medicine and foods without branding. The price of a product is not only materials + labor. Where is the money for the designer? For marketing?
I started paying for songs, movies and other downloadables when I realized I wouldn't want somebody stealing my work. It's not a matter of necessity (unless you have only one), it's not competitive market, it's morals.
If you are ok with piracy then that's you, and it's fine. If you wouldn't like others to steal your work then you won't condone people profiting from somebody else's work, and that's fine too.
I can't afford a lot of things. Doesn't make it right for others to horn in on their action.Price is something that you shouldn't be bothered with. It's all about if you can afford it or not. In case you can, authentic is always way to go, in case you can't, clone will work for the most part. Bad thing with clones is the fact they are not so precise made like authentics and it's always a lottery getting one that will work flawless.
I'm trying to buy authentic when ever i can, but when i find a piece of equipment interesting and the price is way to high for me (like Nextgen or Nextiny, both unavailable in stores and both heavy overpriced on some auction sites) i'll go with clone with no regret at all. Manufacturers should be aware that not all of us are able to unload couple hundreds of dollars to buy their genuine piece, and therefore even if they are raging on people buying clones i can only say to them "lower the price or make it more available and i'll buy it for sure".
That's my 5 cents...
Or off-brand foods. What's wrong with buying generic drugs?
I prefer "counterfeit".The new name for clones should call "Generic"... I use Generic RTA's.
Naaa... he finally got back on topic with that reply.Bronze, please stop. You are only here trying to get another thread closed.
Most copies are machined just as well as the originals. And many originals have design and manufacturing flaws. And the materials are the same, often from the same sources.... Bad thing with clones is the fact they are not so precise made like authentics and it's always a lottery getting one that will work flawless. ...
