Haha, that's exactly how my wife thinks. Her check engine light came on,she said it's a piece of crap,i need to sell it,it took 5 minutes to fix the problem.Another time her belt started squeeking, well it's a piece of crap, time to get a new one.If she got a new car every time she thinks she needs one,she would be driving something different every few months haha.

She has her eyes on a NEW one! Better start building up the trade-in fund ...

New car commercials are loaded with subliminal images and messages that make you want one.

My Ram Big Horn is almost 4 years old with 33K on the odometer. I just put $700 worth of new tires on it today. I guess I'll have to drive it some more before trading it in. It's way to "like new" to trade now, but the fever is starting to rise.

Is that a new one with the rotary shifter?
Trade it for a truck with linkage asap.

A shift-by-wire truck transmission is a

When I bought mine in 2013 the rotary auto trans was just coming out on the 6 cylinder models. Mine's a 5.7 Hemi with a standard 6 speed transmission lever on the steering column. I wanted the 8 speed, but it was too early in the changeover cycle.

With that big 395 hp engine I get 15.3 mpg around town and up to 20.8 on a trip to the beach. Most everything these days is controlled by the CPU. There's a lot of fly-by-wire in automobiles these days.

My friend has a 2016 with the rotary shifter.
A puddle shorted the sensor, and the tow truck driver fragged the tranny dragging the truck onto the flatbed.

Fly by wire or shift by wire is an instant fail on any off road vehicle.

They sure dont make em like this anymore.
