is my njoy broken?

I just recieved an njoy and put it together and the first puff was fine. but then the second almost nothing came out then the third nothing. So I tried a new cartridge then different battery. No good keeps doing the same thing. It warms up but very little or no vapor comes out. nothing like the videos I have seen on youtube.

Also I put the battery on the charger and after about 30 mins it turned green so I guess they came charged? I mean the light doesn't start blinking saying low bat so I do not think that is the prob.

Any ideas?

also if I take the cartridge out then put it back in it seems like I get 1 or 2 puffs again before the vapor stops.

Try giving one of them a full charge. sometimes my light goes green after like 10min, I think they're just wrong lol. First charge on njoy says 4-5 hours I think, then every other one 2-3 hours.. so I just follow that and it's been good.

not sure if that's what your problem is but it's worth a shot

thanks for the reply. I have the spare on charge. I will just leave it there till the morning then try that one out. another thing I have noticed is that if I give it two quick hard puffs not inhaling then one long slow one it seems to work well, but I do not want to always have to use those quick puffs as it is not relaxing. like just sitting and slowly puffing on a real cig.

The two quick puffs are acting as primer puffs to warm the atomiser. Seems like the batt you're using doesn't have enough gumption to do it's job and heat the atomiser to vaping temp. A fully charged battery will most likely sort this out.

those are called primer puffs...they pre-heat the atomiser before the main drag,so it vaporizes the liquid more effectively.

you gotta understand-this isnt like real smoking.

nope - just sometimes when the battery tails off. Clean atomiser, fully charged battery and it's just like sippin' whisky...

well let one bat charge 3 hours as suggested by the directions and it is working much better. still have to prime it every now and again but much better. This thing is great. I can see where I might actually get more addicted to the ecig than I was to an actuall cig but atleast it won't kill me jeje

dalupus, the initial charge should be for atleast 7-8 hours. After that initial charge, subsequent charges only take about 3-4 hours Also, I almost never primer puff. I have gotten used to taking nice, long, slow drags, and feel a primer puff really isn't needed.

Dalpus, my Njoy is doing the same thing as yours so maybe we got one from the same batch. This happens even iwth a fully-overnight-charged battery so I don't think that's the problem. I've also tried a vinegar/water soak followed by plugging/blowing out the atomizer and thoroughly drying, but no (N) joy I also primed carefully with some smoke juice, but nada...

I didn't realize they had a one year warranty on parts (at least I think thats what I read somewhere here tonight) so maybe I'll write them and see what they are willing to do. Mine is about 6 months old and has been "lightly" used.

well have an update. I ordered some atomizers from smokers and one seems to work well while the other one is doing the same thing as the njoy is this a common problem with atomizers? what is an atomizers lifespan in general?

My NPRO from Njoy did the same thing, they are sending me a replacement. zagleft1 you are right. Njoy has one year warranty that's why they are expensive.
