I got interested in vaping last weekend, and I did descent amount of reading mostly here on ECF.
From the very 1st search to deciding Echo was a long way, my footprint of interest; V2 -> 401/808/510 -> Ego -> Ego-T -> GoGo -> Echo.
and ordered 1x650 n 1x1300 Echo kit from Cropduster901.com last Sun.

Then moved on to e-liquid study, i finally decided 5 FA flavors, PG, VG, Nic juice, Vape Wiz and pipett/bottle stuff from myfreedomsmokes.com today.

Is there anything that I might be missing from eyes of Veterans here?
And any advise on what noob like me may easily mess up will be much appreciated.

Sry for my poor English n long post.
I hope my sooo much reading n 1st vape experience will be fruitfull.

Here's a thread all about the echo

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ussion/187994-anyone-else-tried-new-echo.html

Something you might want to consider- The cartomizers on the echo are big. You're trying juice out for the first time and there isn't a way to 'test' the juice with this pv before you fill you carto.

You might want to consider getting a 510 for $20. Then you can drip or fill a cartridge to test juices Here's a cheap one. You don't have to do this. Just a thought.

Or I am reading that it is 808D compatible so you could just get a couple standard 808 atties or cartos for testing juices. It would stink to fill a 3ml carto with a new flavor only to find that you don't like it.

I was recommending that because the person is new and I don't think you can test juice on the echo. At least not from what I've read. Yea, it'd suck to fill a carto with 3 ml of juice and hate it. Maybe there's a better option out there to do that.

Wait- you're saying they could get 808 attys to test juice on the echo? Even better!!

Thnx for the replys.

Yes, i am wondering about cart as well.
I hope it works like fill cap n push down, like instruction video on youtube.

For flavoring, because I didn't want to contaminate my cart with unprefered flavor, i did soooo much reading.
Thank you so much for 510 n dripping idea, as finding right liquid seems to be my next subject of study.
There seems to be Echo-v/-e or some thing that works with diff. mods, but then i don't own any vaporizers and no idea what im talking bout.

Another thing if i may ask is that on E-juice Cal., 1 drop = .05 ml correct? my pipette says its 1 drop = .02ml i believe. Does direct single drop from those mini bottle makes it to be .05 ml or its just an example???

Read DonG's post. You can just get a 808 atomizer to test juices!

I'm not sure about the 1 drop = .05 ml. I just started DIY myself and I'm not very good at it. After you have 5 posts you can post in the DIY section. Maybe purchase a bottle of juice to get you started.

I have an Echo that will be here hopefully tomorrow, I think you've possibly made a very good choice from what I have read and heard, one suggestion I would make to you is order a couple of bottles of juice from someone like Tastyvapor dot com before you jump right into mixing your own DIY, it will be much easier for you to starting out, PM me tomorrow evening if you need any help "PureCuriosity" as for the carts you Echo is a native 901 connection, I dont know if KR8 Carts will work only because of the air slots that need to be on the Echo batt to let the KR8 Cartos breath and have airflow, I will know tomorrow for sure, the Echo E Carto was made to fit the Ego Batts and has a little less capacity in the carto for juice I believe too, anyway if ya need anything just PM me tomorrow, these new Auto Batts are supposed to be pretty good, I guess I will find out tomorrow !

I actually went to local E-cig store today n picked up 3x 24mg tabaco flavored 100% VG juices to see how pro does it.
And it will also be my one of control group for my experiments with all liquids qualitywise.
now that i think about it, i should had one of fruit flavor. anyway, thnx again for your advise on time, i was bout to get one.

Don't spend too much time looking for an 808 atomizer. They don't exist.

A 901 atomizer will fit 808 threaded devices though. And if the Echo you ordered is KR808 threads, a 901 atty should work fine for testing flavors. Best of luck!

I'm lil confused now.
- Drip tip (801 seems to be the one)
- LR atty (not quite sure which one)
are the ones needed for easy tasting, correct?

n thank you.

801 drip tips fit the ECHO model, and 901 atomizer's in LR or regular resistance are great for testing flavors. you can also use kr808d1 cartomizer's they only hold about 1ml but they will work fine on the ECHO. ikenvape.com has great price's on 801 aluminum drip tips. ALthough I do want to stress the fact that filling carto's should be done off the battery. because the battery is automatic it has a vacumn switch inside that activates it so any liquid that leaks in there could be an issue later down the road

Thanx for your advise. I will try the above.

My Echo is finally here along with e-liq, and there were all well packed n working great.
I'm enjoying the sample came along with it.

I can't compare with the other models as this is my 1st one, but I had no troubles.

It's just that its so good and unlike cig, i can put away/pick up taking a few tokes, I keep picking up every 5 mins.
