So wait, none of you have anything made in China? Nothing? Just how many things do you think are made in China that are also made in the US?

Who said that? I thought we were talking about quality APVs... I own a lot of iProducts, but Apple has militaristic QC at their FoxConn assembly plants. Shoes? No, don't own any made in China. Furniture? No. Clothing? No.

One of the best reviewed motorcycles on the market in the 500cc range is a Korean make....not everything made in the US is better and not everything out of Asia is junk
Please don't conflate "China" and "Asia". Other countries in Asia haven't institutionalized stealing everything that the rest of the world designs, invents, or publishes. It would be one thing of the Chinese just stole stuff for their own use, but no, that's not good enough for them; they have to turn around and sell what they've stolen back to the rest of the world.

Yes, I'm somewhat bitter about this, and my bitterness pre-dates the existence of vape gear by a good 5 years.

Italy and Germany make the best motorcycles, in my opinion.

I would add Great Britain with their Triumph speed triple and Austria with the Super Duke and Japan for too many models to enumerate and Canada for their great Spider and yes the USA for Harleys and the new Indians.

.... but to get back on the suject matter: Here is the review of the P3 by a respected independant reviewer that is not a fanboy of Provari like PB whom subjected us to a long Provape commercial of the P3 in his first look video.

Todds Reviews: Provari v3 (beta)

Saw that yesterday but didn't feel like posting it. That's the way I feel about it. Does what it should and does it well. Will they sell a lot of them? Yes. Will they sell as many as they could have? Nope. I tend to think that before it's done they'll go to 30 watts. I wouldn't be surprised if the P3 isn't already capable of it with a program change. Still won't buy one but a lot more people will if they do.

Looks pretty well made, as expected. Not crazy $$$ nice, but nice. If Provari made box mod I'd be all over it.

It has been posted before that 18350 batteries aren't considered safe to continually use at 30 watts, so P3 will never be a 30 watt mod... If it were, people would complain it doesn't go to 50 watts...

Exactly. Wherever it stops, the next level is where (people will say) it SHOULD be.

You know what would be cool.. Adapting that 'IQ' system to recognize when its in 350 or 650 mode and adjust the allowable wattage depending on what battery is in there. :)

We'll time to out provape through round two... The hardware passes the muster as far as living up to the hype. Customer service next as I think I have a faulty mini 18500 extension tube. Pinged them in sat so don't anticipate hearing back until the 2nd. Short summary is it only kinda works? I have a hybrid (I presume 2 tone anodized) unit that works great in 350 mode but is flaky in 490/500 mode (tried with two of each. Only thing I can think of is there is black in the threads if the extension. If I unscrew it a bit it will sometimes work but misreads the battery voltage.... I'm thinking it must be an increased resistance due to the threads being "coated". I'll let you know what they say. From all I have read I expect it will all go well. I just find it odd, as a fully charged batt reads on my meter at 4.2 but if I get it to work with the extension cap it'll read 3.7... Go figure. Anyone else have a "painted" one they can comment on?
