Yes i will try to use bottled water if that would be safe, thanks for the help
put a pot of water half full on your stove, simmer it on low (don't boil it keep it on low) the steam/condensation that collects on the lid is pretty much distilled water...

Hey No Problem. But is Sounds like Fantazmagoricl had the Best Bit of Advise.

BTW - Your Strawberry Recipe sounds Fine. Just let it sit in a Cool It sit in a Cool, Dark Place for 2 ~3 Days before you use it.

And if it is not Sweet Enough for you, you might try adding a Touch of Sweetener like Cotton Candy Flavoring.
Thank you haha, yes everyones advice was very helpful thanks haha, and yes i will maybe try with adding sweeteners but im unsure of how to use sweeteners. Ive mever really seem them used before so i wouldnt know what kind to use? Or how much really

And if that is Not Possible, and you are 100% Reliant on Well, River, and or Rain Water, you could pour it thru a Double Coffee Filter and then Boil it for 5 Minutes. Then place it in a Glass Jar.

With all that you could take it straight out of the toilet and be AOK. ;)

Perhaps you can find RO (reverse osmosis) water in lieu of distilled.

Regardless I think microbial contamination is not much of a concern for two reasons. 1) Both PG and VG are somewhat anti microbial. 2) The liquid is sterilized by the heat of vaporization. Waterborne pathogens target the stomach and intestine.

Bottle water can and often does contain heavy metals, read the label.

Oh okay i was unaware that this could be done, thanks i will definetely try this if i can. Do i need anything else? Or will i just simmer the water in the pot and then collect the water off of the lid?
Just make sure the lid is clean beforehand ^__^, when I do it I let it accumulate once, discard it then let it do it again and use that. It's kinda like a extra cleaning step I guess.

For thinning liquids, you could also use highest alcohol content Vodka off of pretty much any alcohol store. Just get the one with the highest possible volumetric alcohol content (vol%) and you should be safe.

Ethyl Maltol is one of the main sweeteners used in e-liquids, with ethyl maltol, low is the way to go. Experiment, start off with less than a percent (couple of drops into 10ml) and go up and taste every now and then after mixing to get to your "sweet spot" (puns, can't avoid them!)

If you can't find/get any distilled water - 3 Ways to Make Distilled Water - wikiHow. Bottled water might be OK, but most bottled waters are just tap water in a fancy labeled plastic bottle. I wouldn't use tap water. Note the second sentence is mostly just my opinion.

For Fun, I just did read the Label on a Bottle of Stater Brothers Bottled Water. It says...

    Ingredients: Purified Water.

    LOL

It may contain Trace amounts of Heavy Metals? I wonder what my Heavy Metal Exposure Level is by Vaping an 7ml/day of an e-Liquid that contains 8% Bottled Water (.56ml) as compared to what I Inhale during the 15 Minute Shower I take every mourning with using Tap Water?

Maybe I could Offset the Possible Heavy Metals in my e-Liquid Bottled Water by taking a 14.25 Minute Shower Instead?

I would caution that most people don't seem to like alcohol in their vape. For example, the main purpose of breathing a new mix is to let any alcohol in the flavorings to evaporate.

The advice on EM was good, most recipes I use are at 1-3% although a few go up to 5%. But I would start low and move up, as previously suggested. Another sweetener is sucralose. I use TFA's sweetener flavor which is sucralose suspended in PG. Similarly, it is usually in there at only a percent or two. It can be used instead of EM or even combined with EM. Have fun playing around with this :)

    There is plenty of info on-line here are some;

six sources of bottled natural spring water were purchased and analyzed for silver, arsenic, barium, beryllium, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, mercury, molybdenum, nickel, lead, antimony, selenium, thallium, vanadium, and zinc. All of these metals except beryllium, mercury, and thallium were detected in at least one of the bottled natural spring water sources.

My choices would be 1) Distilled 2) RO 3) Rain (I am in a remote area) 4) Bottled... YMMV :)

Forgot completely about that. Didn't even think to mention that. Thank you for notifying me about that :) Thinning liquids with alcohol is still a way to thin liquids, not that everyone likes to use alcohol to thin liquids :)

 Labeling is bit better here I see.

FWIW Tap water is often purer than bottled water.
Don't you argue for regulations and standards enforcement for e-juice?

Just for grins 15 Outrageous Facts About The Bottled Water Industry

I doubt any water reasonable choice is dangerous in this application. I think the danger is not from pathogens in this application which is what everyone seems to be worrying about. So worry about the right stuff ok
