Is steeping always a good idea?

Steeping does not make a juice go bad, unless you let it sit in excess of 6 months or so, even then it may be good. Steeping is recommended by just about all juice makers. It gives the mixture time to blend and let the flavor come out. BUT as you stated some taste good from the 1st day. Trial and error on steeping. If it does not smell right, let it steep. If it smells good, vap it. :)

I vape my juices right out the gate if I have to steep your juice to make it taste good I'm not ordering from you again. However all my juices do steep because I always store them in a dark place they go in a drawer. and I'll fill a tank and vape it. so on and so on but No juice should have to be steeped to make them taste good I feel thats a cop out by juice makers just my 2 cents and at the price of inflation its only worth 1 cent

I have mixed thoughts on steeping. I don't deliberately steep. If I like a juice outta the mailbox, well I'm not one to put away a good juice! Ima vape it! That being said, if I don't care for it outta the gate it goes in my juice box, I have a lock box cuz of my daughter and pets. When the juice flavor sounds good, I try it again. Sometimes the time in the box helps it, others not so much. I don't see any changes significant or amazing enough to be worth a steeping routine, but I have seen some juices improve over time. I think its one of those personal preference issues. :)

Rule of thumb: If it is sample sized, those are usually made ahead of time and don't require steeping. Most vendors have samples made up from larger batches then get put into the smaller sample bottles. There are some that don't. If you get a chemical or nasty flavor, let it "steep" by taking the lid off for a couple of days and shake them a few times a day. Cap them and try them out after about a week. If you still get that chemical/flowery taste, put them away for another week.

I found the juices, finally, that I like. Now I have to wait to get them to the same flavor that I had when I got them in the sample. (As I gaze longingly at my steeping bottles).

Some vendors have their juices made in larger batches and the steep time is already built in. If you have a question, ask the vendor if the ones that you have need steeping. I am sure they want you to get the most enjoyment out of their juices because if you don't like it, you may not reorder. If the vendor can't take the time to let you know, I can't spend my money on them.

Just my :2c:

From a diy juice makers perspective some juices do need time to steep to get all the nuances out of the juice. I wouldn't make a blanket statement like that without addressing both sides of the equation.
