BWB Maple tobacco is one of my favorites, when fresh. I have an unopened bottle of it, that has been sitting around for about three weeks. It's not that I am intentionally steeping it, it's just that I haven't gotten around to using it yet. I seriously doubt if it will taste any different, but if it does, I will concede to the idea of steeping, at least for some e-juice.

I found it to have a stronger maple note after it had been around for a while.

Please post when you do use the month-old stuff...

I got almost no maple out of the mail. Wasn't thrilled with it AT ALL. Glad I gave it a chance to sit. Much better now.

I cant vote in the poll but I am 100% certain it is not a myth.

I buy juice from a custom hand-mixer not mentioned or represented on ECF. He agrees with what Don says. He very specifically says that flavor BLENDS MUST be allowed to steep for 7-10 days minimum or they will not taste as designed.

I think everyone who responded to this poll should get a free ounce of Maple Tobacco, just to try steeping (all in the name of Science, ya know :) )

Absolutely! I'm all for this...

None of my juices have improved dramatically with age as the poll is asking. A couple have improved a little. Some stay the same. But most actually lose flavor after a couple of weeks compared to day 1.

Maplewood is one that actually did improve with age.

Some that lost flavor: Applewood, cherrywood, RY4, Tampa, Maxboro, Purecig, caramel apple, peach

Some that stayed the same: Wyatt Earp, pina colada, cherry limeade

I may have to change my "no" vote on steeping, at least for some flavors. I used my first bottle of BWB Vanilla Bean, as soon as I got it. It was good, but not great. I let my second one sit around for a few weeks and just started using it a couple of days ago and there is a big difference. It's much richer in flavor and reminds my old tastebuds of vanilla ice cream. Excellent !!! :)

I would say definitely that steeping is important. My favorite juice is VY4 from Vapure. The very first time I vaped it, I knew for my likings this was my holy grail, my creme de le creme. The second time I ordered VY4 the taste was close to vomit. I was so upset I wrote Tony at Vapure about it just to let them know I was upset. As a few weeks went by I grabbed that bottle to try again & sure enough the flavor I love was there again. To each their own but for me, steeping is important on freshly made juice.
