I'm usually a desert vape kinda guy and at times steeping is necessary but I was curious to know if fruity vapes need this special treatment as well. A majority of individuals have voiced that its unnecessary and that its good to go straight up but after trying it, its a little light on flavor. I was expecting "juicy" but got something along the lines of a "flat-soda".
Is steeping necessary for fruity vapes?

I find that the higher the % of VG in a mix the longer it takes for flavor to develop fully in my DIY. Usually buying from a vendor *unless* they are mixing to order, the juice has been on the shelf for awhile and it has travel time. Those juices should not need to sit to steep in my experience.
Steeping is only necessary if a juice tastes perfumy, weak, or just "off" when it arrives. If it tastes good, vape it. If not, put it in a dark place at room temperature and let it mellow. Perfume tastes go away quicker if you leave the cap off and let it breathe.
Dave and I have alot in common. I typically smell it first...if I get a hint of something like perfume, I will leave it open for half a day and then let it steep for a week and go back and try it again. I think alot of it does depend on the vendor. For me, I like VV fruity stuff, but I need to let it sit for a few weeks before I can touch it. The coffee flavors I go with right away.
