[h=2]I'm usually a desert vape kinda guy and at times steeping is necessary but I was curious to know if fruity vapes need this special treatment as well. A majority of individuals have voiced that its unnecessary and that its good to go straight up but after trying it, its a little light on flavor. I was expecting "juicy" but got something along the lines of a "flat-soda". [/h]

Is it necessary, no. Could it help, yes. Could it make no difference, yes. You won't know until you try.
I mix my own, so I don't have any experience with any vendor's fruit flavored juices, and I'm wracking my brain trying to come up with a fruit flavor I mix that gets better with steeping.... The only ones I can recall that do involve banana or cinnamon, but the majority of fruit flavors are as great the moment they are mixed as they are a few weeks later.
