For two and a half years I have dutifully checked into ECR every day to keep
caught up with the latest trends and political news.
It is interesting to note back in the day Ego style set ups were all the rage
as they gave more battery life and the tanks held a lot more juice than a
cigalike. The vapor production was noticeably better which didn't hurt.
VV and VW were hitting there stride. RDA's,RBA's,drippers or whatever
the extreme forms of vaping were back then had a solid if small following.
Mostly DIY/hobbyist types. It was all cool.
Today day things are a little different. Sub-ohming is becoming more
popular but, it is still not main stream. Everyone I know, predominately middle
aged working individuals use ego style with some into VV or VW stuff.
The main thing being small learning curve, ease of use and, minimum hassle.
From what I can tell over the last two years the advancement and popularity
of mods along with the realization that VG makes the vapor appear thicker
have both contributed to the uptake in sub-ohming in general. Back in the
day it was all like,"If you lower your resistance down this low and add such
and such amount of VG you can chuck mad clouds Bro". Now a days it's
all like," I need massive clouds and the better nicotine delivery to keep me
off the smokes, don't harsh my gig Bro".

Mike
