"Is that a blunt?"

It's happened 3 times now. People see me smoking my 510 and then ask if it is a blunt. I don't know much about drugs, but I thought a blunt looked sort-of short and white like a little cigar?

How could they mistake the e-cig for a blunt?




I guess I should be careful around cops, if ordinary people think it's a blunt, cops might think the same and I could end up with a face full of pavement.

Its perhaps due to the vapor. When I started about a week ago and I was sitting in my car and using my 510-T some people were standing next to me in a traffic jam and you saw them thinking, is he smoking weed, due to the vapor production

In all fairness though, the small ecigs that look like a real cigarette do resemble certain drug paraphernalia, but I'm not getting into that.

I rolled my own cigarettes for years and I'd get random people come up and ask me if I've got green in there and if I can give them some. Guess they'll ask anyone that's "smoking" just about anything.

Now that I have a rediculously long ego with a booster and a CE2 on it, no one's asked me. It's just that the cops keep trying to arrest me for it. Can't win 'em all.

I know right ... it is this that makes me feel more insecure about vaping in public. I have actually received a few very questionable stares when I have vaped in public ... "that's a crack pipe" kind of stares :S

I just say, "yup, it is" and vape away. Did that twice, a coworker who knows I'm full of it, and a stranger who I do not care what they thought.

Haven't tried that on a cop, don't know that I could if I wanted to, probably come out, "uuuuh, but, I, ummm, ugh."

Everyone else, it is what they want it to believe it is.

OK so I am not the only one that thinks some of the ecigs loot like a one hitter or dug-out (bless my misspent youth).

We never smoked blunts.... but to mistake an ecig for a blunt? OMG what the hell are these people smoking to think that?

From what I remember of that part of my teenage years, playing with blunts leads to modding just like e-cigs. I figure it's only a matter of time before some industrious little jackyank guts an Ego to make a one hitter and gets us all pulled over on sight.

That's why I get everything in stainless steel. Easy to see that I'm not smoking a cigarette, joint, blunt, ........

I don't stealth vape either. If you act like you are trying to hide something, people with think you have something to hide.
