Personal experience? Yes, the iClear 30 is pretty bad... it mutes flavors like nobodys business...

I just got mine out of the box a couple days ago (it came w/ my MVP2), and I am not impressed. It really does mute the flavor substantially. I get a lot of vapor, but the taste isn't on par with my Aspire BDC's at all.

I haven't tried anything but the original iclear 30, but I like it for thicker juices. Note that the 30s caged coils are more expensive to replace than the open wick coils. The protanks are too airy a draw for me to enjoy, but everyone has their preferences, so it's great we have so much to choose from!

What is the difference between the iClear 16 and 16b ? I got the 16B with my MVP2 and I haven't filled it yet. Don't want to waste juice if its not a good tank.

I think you're okay with the iclear16b. I heard good reviews on the iclear bottom dual coil heads, as you wont have the bad wicking issues or the muted flavors that come with the iclear16 or iclear30

How good or bad the iClear 30 is, is subjective. I prefer the vapor quality and taste from it over all of my single coils clearos. That said, it isn't my favorite dual coil clearo at all, and the one that came with my MVP 2 is currently not being used. I don't like the shape of the drip tip, it isn't glass, and it does use a lot of juice. The rate of juice being used however is comparable to other dual coils. Two coils just equals double the vapor and juice consumption. I prefer cartotanks for superior taste and less juice consumption, and my favorites are tanks from IBTanked and Cirrus so far. Phiniac tanks are also great according to reviews, and I'll be ordering from them next.

The iClear B line is better in my opinion then the originals. Easier to maintain, good taste.... However, they are still dual coils and dual coils will naturally use more juice at a time. Still, with shorter wicks, you have the potential to save more juice from going down the drain when the coil dies or you get a dud and need to change it. The iClear 30's wicks trap a lot of juice that can't be saved.

30... very good taste if you fill it at night and use it the next day but noisy and poor VP.

30s... very good VP warmer taste but slightly muted, super practical no noise no leaks long lasting.

30b... a total joke of a tank for me, first one i got was a dud the second leaked like something rude... probably just me but twice bitten etc

Yes... this... :) i.m.o.

Others will come along with other suggestions but, for a beginner tank I HIGHLY recommend a ProTank3... great flavor, great vapor, and no having to twist and turn the tank to make sure the wicks are getting enough juice!

Just make sure you don't over tighten the bottom or you'll get mouthfuls of juice lol

a bad day at the track is better than a day of not running at all

I actually like my IClears, the original top feed ones are "ok" but find when the juice gets low they start to degrade pretty quick.
For the amount of money they cost I can't moan.
Just sampling the 30B versions (bottom fed) and they seem a lot better suited to using up all the juice in the tank with less messing about tilting juice on to the wicks when it gets low like the originals.
Not had a dry hit from them yet. Only thing I don't like about them is the stripes, not sure who thought that one up...
