Whats the difference between the iClear30 and iClear30s?

There a pic of each on the first page of this thread.

I find the 30 better then the S, and wicks better. IMHO. I have some very strong flavored juices and because of the slight muting, I use those liquids on the iclear. Yes I know the diff, I RDA and RBA as well.

Taste is subjective etc..... Some like onions some don't, and even if u do u might not like Vapeing onions, unles on an iclear 30.

It all comes down to personal pref. I like the Iclear30. I hate the protanks, or any kanger bottom feeder really, as those muted the hell out of flavor for me. I went to vivi novas for a while, but I hate all the leaking, and the Iclear doesn't have that issue.

I will also toss in there that I am prob going to switch to a carto tank in the near future, and will prob only use my Iclears for things that won't feed into a carto well, then.

Dear OP, as you see, one man's treasure... :p

Try the iClears and remember that they are dual coil atomizers, so they require a bit more wattage than single coils and will drain your battery much faster.

Also, try one of the Kanger BCC clearomizers--they are all nice, IMO--T3S, eVod, Protanks.

Good luck!

I got an "original" iClear30 with my MVP. (Bundled). I had already been enjoying and using the "S" version, which I think is superb. It drinks juice though...
For me, the "old" iClear30 just doesn't do it. Very soggy clearomiser (not exactly leaking/gurgle) and needs a whole lot of power to get it working well. Taste is so-so (at 10 watts), but overall not my favourite.

I have a couple of each of the iclear30 range and i agree with everyone that has said its very subjective with clearomizers but just for me:

30... very good taste if you fill it at night and use it the next day but noisy and poor VP.

30s... very good VP warmer taste but slightly muted, super practical no noise no leaks long lasting.

30b... a total joke of a tank for me, first one i got was a dud the second leaked like something rude... probably just me but twice bitten etc

X.1... can't wait to find out! :D

Of the iClear s I only have the 30B and I love it, admittedly it's my first upgrade from my CE5's but the draw is plenty wide enough for me and it's only leaked once (my fault, when opening it for a fluid change I rested the base in such a way that all the juice on the wicks ran into the chimney...idiot.)

It does mute the flavour a little, no denying that.

Some people seem to have an issue with dry hits, even on 100% VG I don't get dry hits, but then I don't really take huge drags on it.

Kangers (or rather bottom feeders in general) just became popular (in my less than humble opinion, here), because they are less hassle than top feeders as a general rule. Some people love them, whereas I can't even taste a plastic tank cracking cinnamon in a PT2. Companies make what people like, not necessarily what is the better performer. Look back to the beta v. vhs war (if you can even remember what a vcr is), or music players (ipods, how many people even know about competing personal media players) and then on to cell phones (iphones, the iproducts are pretty ubiquitous)... It's not about what is better, all too often. It's usually about what is hip/cool that dominates the market.

Other than the iClear 30s having the sleeve it also has larger air inlets in the base and a larger outlet on the top seal on the center post. The larger holes of course mean much more air flow and a little more cloud production as well. The regular 30 feels more like a real drag off an analog. Its kind of like your sucking thru a filter which lets you draw longer. However if you are not careful you can draw too long and get the burnt taste depending on your power/voltage settings. I like them both, sturdy build but pricey in the B&M's.
